It would be cheaper to buy a harness to tie Joe down to the train seat, than to park around that area for the day. :-?

Living on the outskirts of London we have often visited both Museums with a 3 and 5yo.... always by train.

You can walk to both from South Kensington Tube station through a subway. You can even buy tickets for the Nat Hist in the subway avoiding queuing when you get to the entrance.

Bring a packed lunch; the queues for the restaurants are massive and very poor value.

Thanks for the map JB.
We did drive and only took us an hour to get their (with baby in tow) from Luton so that's not bad. And we parked about 5mins walk no probs.

The kids loved the museums and we had a lovely day but thankfully they all fell asleep on the way home.....so peaceful!! :D
