It's -1 here in Somerset today and snowing a bit.

How cold is it in Scotland/Finland?

Aberdeenshire (well this part of Aberdeenshire) is freezing. Our car thermometer was at -4 when we took the dog to the forest last night but then that's not always hugely accurate.

No snow though and as far as I know there's none scheduled.

It's now at 20:12 local time -22 degrees of Celsius over here. I guess that Liisi has much more colder right now. And it will be colder tonight. Sky is clear and moon and stars are beautiful out here!

well the way weather reports are sometimes, it could mean that you'll be baking in a tropical heatwave any time soon, it seems to change so fast!

this is so typically British, even on the Internet we talk about the weather....

well it IS Aberdeen TD so maybe the heatwave is taking it a 'bit' too far. Though sometimes we do get really good weather. There were two dates last summer in particular (18th of June and 5th of September for a matter of fact) that were amazingly good and everyone I was with and me got absolutely frazzled. It hurt.

Thw snow came earlier than either the EE or P & J anticipated! We have had flurries during today, it's been lying on the ground tonight but at the moment there's not much at all.

It's been snowing... and snowing... and snowing all morning! The school's shut.

I've not really seen snow like this for a good while, in recent years it doesn't seem to have been as bad but it's crazy.

Hope all of you who have it are keeping safe. @^@

it's very weird thinking of you all up there with loads of snow....we've got bright sunshine down here, although it's VERY cold and i wouldn't be surprised if we get snow later.

You may get loads at the end of the week TD, temperatures are a bit marginal atm so it may not be cold enough and rain instead.
