the time I went to the public toilets and heard the town clock strike 5pm and realised that I would miss my bus if I didn't hurry! I ran out of the toilets and forgot that I was wearing trousers that had a button instead of an elasticated waistband and they fell down around my ankles. I tripped over them and was lying in the market square with my trousers around my ankles! Wouldn't mind but I was wearing big knickers at the time... :oops:

Since you posted this thread Diane I think you should name yours too! :D

When I left school I worked in a cinema for 2 years, started off as usher and got promoted to assistant projectionist- anyhoo one day whilst spooling up one of the projectors it developed a fault so we called in a techie guy. To fix it he had to put in a really expensive piece of film that had alignment markings on it to the n'th of a mm.

He turned on the projector and it chewed the film into hundreds of pieces :eek: So being a cheeky sod I turned round with a huge grin on my face and said..."was it supposed to do that?" :D

Blimey he went ballistic!! he threatened to knock my head off and doubted my parentage and allsorts ::lol::

And another from there was that I played a kids smurf cartoon in the wrong order
:oops: :oops: :oops:

No-one noticed tho! ::lol::

Renting a porn video for my (then) 4 year old brother. It was called 'Fritz the cat' and was in a Fraggle Rock Video case. I realised it's not Fraggle Rock but it looked like a cartoon so I thought, ok, it'll do.

Turned out to be a nasty porn video and as I was cooking the dinner for him he shouted to me 'What is that cat doing!?'

I came running out of the kitchen and it wasn't a pretty sight on the tv!

:eek: :-(

Fritz the Cat! I forgot all about that. I wouldn't call it nasty compared to a lot of porn. It's a cartoon! I thought it was hilarious. :D

I have two very embarrassing moment stories, but need to feel totally safe - or totally anonymous - before I can 'broadcast' them. Not sure a public forum is quite the place for that.

Maybe someday...

If you work in a call centre always make sure you're headset is switched off before you start slagging off the rude customer to your colleague... :-?

Embarassing moments? :oops: It has to be the moment, when I was leaving a studio at radio-station (that's another story what I was doing on that radio station live in the air) many years ago and I almost hit with the door that I opened, Mr Ahtisaari (he used to be a President of Finland), who was entering to the same studio of that radio station after me with his body-guards. Luckily I didn't hit him and I was able in that very schocking moment to say 'Good Evening' to them (after I realised that nobody didn't get hurt) before I left the building and drove home! :oops: ::lol:: It was so close! :eek:
