There is a rumuor, from a 'reliable source' going around another forum that Vannessa Feltz is to stand in for Davina during BB7 to cover her pregnancy.

Surely Dermot is the obvious choice? Or Russell? Id like to see Russell do it.

I hope vanessa doesn't stand in for Davina I am sure they could think of someone better to stand in for her.

davina twice still manage to interview through each pregnancy but
she could have chantelle as a stand in for the final,not during bb7 as
davina will manage fine as she did with her 2 pregnancies.

the heading "vanessa to stand in for davna " was
misleading as we thought it meant that vanessa was doing both bb7 and
grand final when she might be just doing the final only.

the heading should have been
"vanessa as davina's stand in for grand final of bb7"
which would have avoid confusion

Well Feltz has been a long standing guest on BBLB and BBBM. so it wouldnt be off the wall that she got the offer . Feltz is more than capable of the job and shouldnt be ruled out.

Yet I'd prefer him to Feltz. Where did you get this info cc100, it sounds nonsense to me, why put someone who was so unpopular as a contestant on BB, as presenter

I would much prefer Dermot to Davina. And I think that it might be the making of Dermot again if he got to present the main programme. He's been turned into a kiddie presenter on BBLB with the early time slots, but I think he's still a talented guy. He often gets more out of the housemates by lulling them into a false sense of security, and on the main show he wouldn't have to do *stunts*. Or wouldn't he? *Thinks of Davina interviewing in her bikini.....*

I think Davina would have to be having contractions every 2 minutes for her to let someone else do her job.
I bet she'd do it even at 8 and a half months pregnant
Hope she does! Can't imagine anyone other than Davina doing the eviction shows / finale.

If it stops them dragging the series out to 13 weeks, then that would be good! 11's more than enough imo!

I can't see Davina not doing it unless she absolutely can't.

As you said Vagabond, Dermot seems to be quite good at getting information out of the housemates when he interview thems. I think he would be a good replacement if one was needed.

Or what about Kate Lawler or Brian Dowling or Alison Hammond?
