Something so gross and awful! The speakers on my pc didn't work so I'd bought some language-learning CD's of who I thought was a legit door-to-door salesman.

Anyway so I shoved them in a cupboard (still in the bag) and now my speakers are working I can use them so I got them out today and discovered a used syringe in the bag!

I feel so guilty and dirty bcz that f*cking needle has been in my house for weeks and I've had my neices and nephews around and everything! I hate the thought of them being in the same room as that! Luckily they're too small to reach the cupboard but still! Some auntie I am!

I love studying foreign languages and it was only 15 pounds (my pound-sign doesn't work - cheap pc!) for 3 new languages! What cost if my neice had been big enough to reach the cupboard! Some (insert the most vile word you can think of) threw another used syringe over the fence into my parents back-garden when she was about 18 months and she was sitting there about to reach for it! you know how babies explore everything by putting it in their mouth! She might... I can't even go there it just doesn't bear thinking about! I hate my neighbourhood!

No but it's not nice to worry that your children (well they're 'my' babies, y'know what I mean!) could have been in danger. I felt really scared at what might have happened if they'd been big enough to open the cupboard door and I was physically shaking and nauseous to know that I put them at risk. If something happened to any one of them I'd... Well I dunno but I think I would die if anything happened to one of my little monkeys!

All sorted. Called council and complained about the number of drug-addicts who are chucking syringes about, bought a bottle of wine and had a cry. Still not smoking! been about 10 days now! Thank God you're more sensible and will never start Jezi!

Oh Molls! I know exactly how you feel. My kids have gotten a hold of a knife a couple of times and every time I've allmost died of the scare it's given me. Oh and Nooa once got a soft peace of candy in his throat Nothing really bad has ever happened *knocks on wood*, but just for those fractions of seconds the though "what if" pops in to your head and you feel very vividly how it would feel if something ever happened to them.

And now I'm shaking the though, eeeooouugghhhh

Had to bring this back because I have a query that won't go out my head (sad is the word) and I can't see my French teacher until tomorrow.

Yesterday I saw a woman who had a t-shirt that said 'Je suis belle toujours et tous le temps'

My mother would verify that I got quite cut up about this because at school we have been taught that it is always 'tout le temps'. Maybe there are exceptions to the rule so can anybody shed any light because I was outraged that they could actually print something that was wrong on the back of a t-shirt. My French can be a bit dodgy (especially when not paying attention) but surely they should have to check it before printing it?

I guessed that you took it exactly as it translates - as in the person is saying 'I am beautiful always and all the time' even if the construction is awful.

Cheers Cameron. I was actually quite worried when reading it, 'tout le temps' never fails to make an appearance in my French essays and was thinking 'uh oh'...

lol, just seen this. Possibly Molly, mind you shops would likely get away with it because so many people don't know French over here (and out of those that do many are probably not sad enough to actually get upset over it ) so she likely paid good money for it not even realising.

There is a line in a duet that I am having to do which breaks virtually every rule I've ever learnt in French (possible over statement but near enough) and it's horrible! Can't really post it as it's obvious but thankfully it's the guy I'm doing the duet with who has to sing that particular line. Now... how to devise a way of covering ears so the audience don't notice
