I was meaning there wasn't a happy-ending for Coffey

I just watched the film, the other week, Tom Hanks was brilliant, still his best work was in "Bachelor Party"

to repeat my question for those who weren't listening


Is it graphic?

Not really, but I'm used to slasher pics, so I can't really say.

Not as horrific as the book, but Dels death was quite nasty.

I didn't fancy it when it came out and at that time was a regular movie goer it must have been because I was meant to read the book years later

Okay, about a year overdue but... the film isn't as graphic as the book.

For those who don't fancy reading Stephen King but did enjoy The Green Mile, you might also enjoy The Shining. From memory it wasn't that gory and it's my favourite book.

Also everyone thinks that because the films made from his books are generally rubbish it will mean the books are, but that's not true. He's named one of the greatest living authors for a reason, not just because he's written tons of books.
