This is not new news.

Way back in 1979 The Surgeon General in the US recommended that anybody under 19 should not be given Aspirin for flu like illnesses because of the risk of Reye's Syndrome.

Yeah I've always known not to give my kids aspirin and the oldest is nearly 18. ()^

My eldest is 15 and i was warned not to give her aspirin when she was born. It seems so strange of them to suddenly come up with this again. Written by people who are not parents no doubt.
