Well we are quite a bit more north than you. The sky is clear at the minute though for the first time today, it's not been snowing as much but has still been clouded over.

Mind you, I know they'll try and get the school open again ASAP so if it's not snowing as much then it'll be open again straight away - it's novel at first but I am starting to miss it a wee bit :oops:

Crazy though, you think it's stopped but it has just started again here.

Dunno about elsewhere but I'm guessing our school will be open again tomorrow, there's been a bit today but not nearly as much as the last couple of days. The only thing is usually when it stops it thaws a bit but it hasn't been as it's SO cold.

just been out for dinner and in the space of two hours, the main roads are covered in snow again and very treacherous - found the traction control a great help though at getting up hills...but it's funny how you don't realise that some roads are on a (gradual) slope until you're trying to get up them in icy conditions :-?

Maybe another day off is not such an impossibility after all? :angel:

Was just coming to report this very thing Felicity.

Took the dog out at about 7 o'clock tonight and there had been very little snow up until then, towards the end of the walk 7.45 say it started snowing lightly and we got home at about 8. The cars were totally clear but then the heavens opened and you should see them now :eek: There's at least 3 inches of snow on them and that is in the space of two hours.

I've just phoned the city schools information line - oh joy and rapture unconfined :)

the bathroom and bedroom are getting it tomorrow :eek:
