Too true, sadly. I broke a foot as there was no shoot at my exit and I had climb out onto the wing and jump off that. We hadn't taken off, it wasn't in mid air...
I'd put a purple head here in normal cirumstances, but it wasn't very funny. Apart from that when we screeched to a halt the Captain flung the cabin door open and shouted at a very camp cabin crew "Steve, get 'em off now!", and we all laughed...for a couple of seconds.
