A poke is slang for an icecream where I come from, but means something entirely different here. Of course I didn't know that when I asked for one.

I would NEVER send on those stupid e-mails that say 'if you don't send on this e-mail you will have 50 years bad luck' and the like.

I just came online and had 3 of an e-mail from different friends but this takes it a step further and has people who actually died because they didn't send the e-mail on. Can you get more ridiculous? The text message ones are bad enough but I thought that was absolutely pathetic.
