GET ON YOUR BIKE AND PEDAL TO RAISE POUNDS
Charity cyclists are needed to take part in this year's 22-mile Bon Accord Bike Ride.
Last year 60 riders of all ages raised more than £4,000 for local charities.
And organisers hope this year's event will be an even bigger success.
The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Aberdeen, takes place on Sunday, May 28.
Funds raised this year will go to Northsound Radio's Cash for Kids appeal and will also help Rotary International projects.
The bike ride starts and ends at the sports pavilion in Hazlehead Park with cyclists pedalling off at 9.30am.
There is a choice of two routes - a 22-mile route to Garlogie and back via Peterculter and Countesswells, and a seven mile ride round Cults, Bieldside and Countesswells.
Big Brother winner Cameron Stout and Miss Aberdeen Christine Brown were due to officially launch the event today.
Entry costs a minimum £5 donation per person, with riders encouraged to raise more cash through sponsorship.
