After a whirlwind romance, Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle and fellow housemate Preston have announced that they are to marry.
Whilst in the CBB house, Preston told Chantelle that he would "marry her in a minute" if he didn't have a girlfriend. It seems he wasn't joking. After leaving the house, he split up with French girlfriend Camille, hooked up with Chantelle, and then proposed to her on Monday night in Brighton - 9 weeks after the couple got together.
Preston had arranged for his Mother to ship over her wedding ring, a family heirloom, which has become Chantelle's engagement ring. Speaking on GM:TV this morning, Chantelle said they were "engaged to be married, rather than engaged to be engaged", and it seems "Prestelle" have their sights set on a summer wedding.
The Essex girl also told reporters at the New Woman beauty awards at the Dorchester Hotel that she was absolutely "over the moon", and that she "just wants to marry Preston."
