Ok then NM you can start the campaign to make it compulsory for men
to have, at the very least, a full crack, back and sack wax whilst women are in labour, just so you can share the pain experience. :D

Would you really rather look at that BB, than inflict some needless pain on the bloke who got you into that predicament in the first place. Hangings too good for them. :D

A grapefruit is a bit too small. I reckon a watermelon should be forced up once every ten minutes or so.

Seriously speaking, creating life hurts like hell, but no mother can deny the miracle of it. For me talking about it is serious bragging; I've made something so perfect with all of the power that is in my body (ok, the dad had something to do with it too, but it hurt him way less than me). I'm endlessly proud of my kids. The fact that it hurt to give birth to them and that it was yucky just makes a better story ;)

Giving birth is all that a mother can brag about when it comes to a child, that's what we do. We can't very well start bragging about how good mothers we are or we'll get a mob of angry mothers on our tails who think we're either doing it wrong since we're not doing it their way, or the social services knocking on our doors.

*please notice the ironic tone here, I've discussed motherhood on many related forums, and it's a jungle out there  *

If you ask my husband when his children were born he can tell you he was busy watching cricket while number one was being dragged out,and when number 2 was born, west brom were playing fulham in a thunderstorm. There wasnt time with the others for him to get comfortable or me get any pain relief!!
