THE Big Brother house will be swept for bugging devices over fears of a betting scam on the reality show which starts on May 18.

Channel 4 bosses believe syndicates could try to find out eviction phone results a day before they are made public and called in surveillance experts.

Last year, the Mirror exposed how a gang had made £100,000 on shows, including The X Factor.

An insider at Elstree studios said: "We will protect the integrity of the show whatever it takes."

NEW BB HOUSE IS GLASS ACT

BIG Brother housemates will have nowhere to hide in the new series - every interior wall in the house is made of glass.

Bosses also hope to create a pressure cooker by making the redesigned house smaller than ever, despite it having to hold up to 18 people at a time.

When housemates enter on May 18 they will discover a bath, a shower and two urinals all in one communal bathroom.

Claire O'Donohoe, the producer, said: "Cosy isn't the word. There really is nowhere to hide. It will be more twisted than ever."

And presenter Dermot O'Leary has warned desperate housemates they will not find lasting fame.

He said: "You'll make a bit of money, people will like you, and people will hate you, and that's it." Mirror

Hmmm - Internesting to see some ramps about the place again - the speculation about the long awaited wheelchair user is being catered for.

Some strange patterns in the carpets? Can't make them all out, but one in the bedroom looks like something cut out of some old flock wallpaper!
