Why do papers always ruin shows for us?

They always print soap stories etc.

Im surprised they havent leaked the Apprentice result.

What happened to the days of BB1 where, if I recall, it was pretty much a case of them getting called a couple of days before, told to grab whatever belongings they could, not to tell anyone and they'd pick them up soon. If they really have taken the HMs away for 3 weeks before the series, how could they not be found out? Am hoping it is just to throw everyone off and the actual contestants are still unaware they're appearing!

Llanelli beauty Imogen Thomas may not get to enter the Big Brother house after reports of her appearance in the show were published in a national newspaper.
Ahead of its six previous series, bosses at the reality programme have insisted contestants' identities remain a mystery until the night of the first show.

Insiders at Channel Four, which broadcasts the show from next Thursday, are tight-lipped over whether last weekend's double-page spread in a well-known tabloid has blown the 24-year-old former Stradey schoolgirl's chances.

A Big Brother spokesperson said: "She's not definitely going into the house.

"We never said that she was and we have no idea where that newspaper got that story from.

"What we do if a contestant's identity gets out before the programme's launch can depend - viewers will just have to wait and see."

Despite producers' non-committal stance, the Star understands that the former Miss Wales is the show's holiday guest, enjoying the sun at a European "safe house".

Currently single, the Welsh-speaker now lives in London, where she works as a hostess at West London's Sanderson's Hotel.

Until recently she lived at her family home in Cwmbach Road, Llanelli, with her mother Janet Radford and stepfather Stuart.

Imogen qualified with an honours degree in health and psychological studies from Worcester University in 2005.

BEAUTY QUEEN: DAVINA IS MY STYLE IDOL

BIG Brother beauty Imogen Thomas has said she idolises show host Davina McCall.

Brunette Imogen, 23 - crowned Miss Wales in 2003 - told fellow contestants at the beauty contest she tries to emu late the Channel 4 presenter, who she will meet with fellow presenter Dermot O'Leary when she leaves the TV house.

But Hayley Jones, a fellow contestant in the Miss Wales pageant, said: "We thought it was bizarre that she said she wanted to be just like Davina because in fact she is nothing like her."

Hayley said Imogen, who has a psychology degree, will play mind games to try to win the show.

She said: "Where Davina is bubbly and witty, Imogen is quiet, withdrawn and in fact quite cunning. She has an impenetrable Welsh accent that no one will understand and she isn't a mixer.

"She was just so quiet when we came together for Miss Wales. She prefers to be on her own so she can sit back and plot her next move.

"She's a nice enough girl but she's devoted to winning. The other contestants should look out."

The seventh series kicks off this Thursday. Producers have designed the house with a confusing inside-out theme and few home comforts.

Indoor floors have been covered with turf and decked out with garden furniture, while the garden has been kitted out with waterproof sofas and wallpapered screens.

Producer Paul Osborne said: "This year Big Brother will be more twisted than ever. There are more glass walls giving it a very exposed feel, so housemates will find it very difficult to get away from each other."
