The first time i enjoyed BB was BB1 - the psychological experiment - where noone knew what would happen and how it would be percieved. What the hell has this transpired to ???? A house full of wannabe porn stars, money baggers, self conceited newspaper column inches people - but WE put them there, and as an avid viewer of BB i feel partly responsible for this. Im gutted that a program i used to love is now trawling the depths to find house mates that they think our society would want to watch - id much prefer to watch 'normal' people interact, rather than extrovert social misfits that the public will poke more than fun at. I think this BB is 'lets set them up for the slaughter'?

You mean normal people as in BB4?

Think that kinda bombed with the viewers.

OTT characters row, plot, bitch etc much better than your Scott and Cameron types and to be honest I dont think too many people want to just see people people sitting on sofas always being nicey nicey to each other.

We watch BB for all the things we detest in people, sad but true.

Sorry, disagree a bit.

They have thrown in a few freaks, Lea and Shabbaz. Yet actually the rest of the cast could turn out to be the most normal since BB4.

In the vids they all try to be outrageous, anyone remember the terminally dull Liz stripping off.

Yeah I agree with that Wincey. I do however think that BB found a formula with BB5 that they have kind of repeated in 6 and 7.

My comment about the types of people in the house was based on the percentages of certain types in the house compared to the real world.

If the gay population is 1 in 10 how come the last few shows have had a much higher percentage. A cross dresser or similar now seems to be obligatory in the house as are breasts the size of bean bags. Not exactly a representative of the population in the real world.

Not freaks but as numbers go not a representative cross section either. Hope that clarifies what I was trying to say {@}

You mean that for every 14 people you know, 4 of them aren't models? Surely not! ;)

Oh, I was disagreeing with Cat-woman, really. I actually think this is a good bunch of people in there.

Yes, we want to despise most of them, thats all the fun. but it would be nice to actually want someone to win , come the end, rather then vote for "the least bad choice" :angel:

Yeah I am with you there, aside from one or two who clearly are freaks...this seems like the most normal bunch we've had since BB4...you just have to hope they were 'acting up' in their intro videos!

I think anyone who says they want to be reincarnated as Hitler in an audition/entrance vid is clearly doing it to be controversial, as that seems to be the only way anyone will get picked these days. You could be brimming over with personality, but if you say you get on well with everyone and don't hate anything then bye bye.
