My deepest sympathy to you Caramac & your family on your tragic loss.

Caramac, I'm so sorry at this very sad news. I don't think I ever chatted with Joanna on this forum, but having seen posts elsewhere, I think she was possibly a fan of Ainslie Henderson from Fame Academy, and posted on the ainslie forums at one point (as Jopo4ains). I'd heard that Jopo had passed away in similar circumstances recently, and I don't think it can be a coincidence.

I don't know what to say other than that she was a very special girl who will live on in the memories of her family and friends. I'm glad that she was so happy moments before it happened - but it seems so hard to understand someone so young and with so much to live for being taken so suddenly like that.

I am so sorry to read of your sad news. I have only just logged on today after a not being on here for a while.

There are no words that can make it better or ease the pain but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

as mum to a 16 yr old I cannot imagine ever coping with such a loss-
it is every parents' nightmare

So sorry to hear about the death of your daughter Joanna, Caramac - my sympathies to you and your family at this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father through cancer last year through some rare gentic loop hole. I am so sorry you have to face this. It is every parent's worst nightmare. Take comfort in the fact that her funeral reflected what an impact she had on people and that she'll never be forgotten.

I never knew your daughter but all I can offer is strength cuz that's all you need in this nightmare of a situation.

I hope you take comfort in knowing how many lives she touched and how she will not be forgotten.
I can't begin to imagine what you are going through as I lost a parent, not someone I created. But be proud that you created such a wonderful thing that won't be forgotten.
And take comfort in this poem. I am not religtous, but this poem helped me understand why and how we had to lose people much better and I hope it offers you some comfort in this terrible situation. Never lose faith. You will see your daughter again whem it's time so don't worry, I take comfort in this, though it may have already been said to you:
