Got goosebumps this morning, when I heard a BBfans post being read out on the radio. Small world, etc. :D

Though it wasn't very nice of the presenter to describe peeps who post on BB Forums as 'saddos'. ::lol::

I think the presenter was just talking about you GG ::lol::

Aaah, the hypocrisy.

Talking (inanely) on the radio about Big Brother is ok, but anyone who does it online is a 'saddo'.

Lazy stereotyping.

They couldn't handle the challenging democracy of a web forum. Much better their own cosy little world where calls are filtered, and any challenging caller who makes it through can be silenced. Thank the Lord for in-car CD-players!

Radio presenting, the pinnacle of human achievement! All mouth and no brain.

Christian O'Connell, Zoe Ball, Chris Evans, Sarah Cox, Chris Moyles, Edith Bowman, Chris Tarrant. (what's with all the Chrises?) All intellectual giants of our time.

There's something wrong with people who sit around listening to their own voices through headphones. No wonder they develop an over-inflated sense of their own worth.

Em....there was a debate about ageism, and they quoted an awful post, from someone called 'hippo'...where he said 'ditch the old burd'..

Nah, seriously....it was the station Ray's station, and Ray's words, as in the post that started this thread.

Oh, what a tough crowd people!
To put the "saddos" comment in context - Marty was slagging me and anyone who watches and loves and posts anything re Big Brother Saddos..
It wasnt a huge rant.. it was two equal people with different people having a dig at each other!
And on the subject of the whole sterile radio world - 90% of our calls are live - anyone who wants to ring and "have a go at us" has more chance of getting on the radio than some boring ole nice call.
Look forward to hearing from you!

Regards
and goodluck with your ticket hunting.. only 4000 more to open here.

Hi Sue!

You and the other guy - oh, Marty... do a great job on Q102.

At first I resented having to hear an Australian accent on our breakfast show - but you've more than proved your worth!

Keep up the good work. ()^

Love the Flirty at 8.30 spot.

Mind you, I'm hardly your target audience, at my age I should be listening to Morning Ireland....my middle-aged moments come courtesy of the slushy songs on Dublin Country Mix.
