Mind you, I'm hardly your target audience, at my age I should be listening to Morning Ireland....my middle-aged moments come courtesy of the slushy songs on Dublin Country Mix.

Yes you are our target audience, the cooler granny listeners ::lol:: I'm only joking of course

Confession time. (I do this a lot, don't I, Patsy ::lol:: )....

I am sitting on a chair, that Gerry Ryan 'gave' me. We eat our dinner from a table that Gerry Ryan 'gave' me....we cook our food in saucepans, that Gerry ...etc etc etc.

I used to be a big G Ryan fan...a long time ago. When I was a housewife, for 5 blissful years (1991-96). I listened to Gerry every day, and even phoned him up to yap on the radio at times.

I won a competition once, (made up a smutty poem), and had to do an on-air treasure hunt (and believe me, I'm no Anneke Rice)...to win vouchers to spend in Brown Thomas (kind of like a small Harrods). I got £1500, which was a fortune, considering as we were living on Tesco value products at the time.

Eventually though, I realised that the same Gerry thinks he knows it all, and he doesn't. I also got fed up of listening to him going on about his posh holidays, while some of his listeners struggled to make ends meet. But to give him his due, he has stayed at the top, for 17 years or so.

Brenda Donohue is lovely though - and she reminds me of Patsy. (although of course she's old enough to be Patsy's mother).

After the Gerry phase ended, I moved on to Pat Kenny. That was middleage. That ended when I got a p.c., though. :oops:

I work in a solicitors office on Marlborough Street but its not exactly a fun filled place and I think I'd get in trouble if I had people in. :evil:

Hi Sue!

You and the other guy - oh, Marty... do a great job on Q102.

At first I resented having to hear an Australian accent on our breakfast show - but you've more than proved your worth!

Keep up the good work. ()^

Love the Flirty at 8.30 spot.

thanks for the kind words - want a kit kat...? or about a thousand of them?... i am allergic to dairy and would not have tasted chocolate in about 15 years - yet the smell and the look of the amount of KK's we have is nauseating! x sue :wave:
