Well Done Ellie, it feels great to achieve the race and raise money as well, I was really pleased I did it last year.

To anyone who has or is waiting to do the Race for Life,

You may have noticed (or may notice) photographers taking pics of you at random points of the track.

You can find them HERE

First you find your race venue and date, the enter your running number and hey presto!

I won't tell you my race number as my pics are (hardly surprisingly) MINGIN'

Phew no pics of me on that site, thankfully.

Just to let you all know I paid my money in today.
The website wouldn't accept my payment of offline sponsors (some kind of problem, it said I didn't exist, although I do!) So I just sponsored myself the total I had made offline which was £148. add to that £85 (which may I add came solely from members of BBfans) I managed to break my target of £200 to make £233 in total.
I would just like to say a big thanks to all of you here who sponsored me. £85 is a pretty big chunk of the total I made (all from people I have never met) and I can't tell you how grateful I am to each and every one of you.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago now. It was very muddy, and very wet, and very cold, lol!

I've already seen my pics on that site Heidi I wont tell anyone here my race or number cos when I showed them to my brother-in-law he said "are you sure it was Race for Life and not gay pride? You (me and pauls sister) look like a couple of lesbians"

If you have time it's worth trawling through the unknown pictures as I found some of me and my mates there too where our numbers arent readable.

Incidently we did it in around 40 mins personally I raised £200 but between the 6 of us that took part i think we took over £500

We went to the pub after with our significant others and spent the day eating and drinking excessively.

It is my Race for Life tomorrow. I am really nervous about it. Also I just filled in the little thing you have to wear 'I race for life for..' and it made me cry. I am running in memory of my sister in law who died of Leukaemia (prob spelt wrong) aged 35... it just made me feel so sad and I hope that I don't spend the whole run crying my eyes out
