I know Vilt has mentioned this on another thread but there is a bright & breezy interview with Kate in News of the World magazine - with great new pictures of Kate & an iconic picture of Kate in DJ mode.

Interview covers Kate's thoughts on Jonathan Woodgate, BB, her career & Spencer.

Kate says she still loves Jonathan but only as a mate; the relationship was affected by his move to Spain - & she wanted to forge her own career.
She didn't want to be a 'footballer's wife'or be part of the 'fame game' like Posh'n'Becks.

Kate says BB is all about people seeking fame after the show now & the programme has become a pantomime.
Kate feels like she has moved on from the show.

Kate says she did have a fling with Spencer but things didn't work out.
We all knew anyway but I suggest she doesn't want to be drawn into Jade's ghastly book.
It's a shame about the animosity after the split, with one of Spencer's friends saying nasty/pathetic things on Oh Spencer & Spencer blabbing about it to Jade & ebay.
I thought he might be better than that & treated the issue like an adult.

Kate turned down CLI because she knew it would affect her DJ career, but she has been offered other opportunities.

The two main pictures looked familiar but I couldn't place them-surely they wouldn't have shot new just for this interview?

I didn't really understand what she meant by that-surely everyone has?

As well as Jonny Alison and PJ she says she speaks to Spencer now and again.I see no animosity.I wouldn't believe anything Jade said without confirmation.She is well known to be a fibber.I'll really have to read her book sometime but it doesn't appeal.

Offerred almost every reality show(as well as Ann Summers modelling)including SCD , IACGMOOH and CLI.But has turned them down for the time being as she wants to grow her DJ career at the moment.It's taken a year and will need more time now.She feels she has to work harder than everyone else because she is a woman and the BB connection is definitely a negative and she has more to prove to audiences and promotors than other DJ's who are just accepted and judged on their merits.

No, they haven't - there are a few in therapy.
There are those who continually get money for saying how Big Brother 'ruined their life' - & those who only get work for being on Big Brother, ie the women still scrambling for lads' mag work.

Kate will never truly escape BB but, she, at least, is known by her full name like Brian Dowelling, Alison Hammond, etc. - most are forgotten & only (barely)remembered by their first name followed by 'from Big Brother'.

Kate is a DJ now - & will be judged on that.



Interviews with tabloid magazines tend to be superficial. The more important interview was Kate being serious on her teletext where she described Jonny, Alison & PJ as her only 'real' friends from BB3.

The relationship with Spencer was just one of those unfortunate things - he didn't take being dumped very well, but Kate has been proved right.
Kate doesn't want to say publicly that there is animosity between herself & Spencer, a person she knew for about 6 weeks 4 years ago - & why would she??- not really her style.
Kate wished Spencer well - but one of his friends was continually nasty to her on Oh Spencer - very cowardly.
Because Kate is a grown-up & deals with issues like an adult; Spencer was invited on RI:SE, but he was very childish & refused.

Spencer loves Jade even though she got rid of him on BB & cost him a chance of winning & earning 200-400k - but that's his problem.
Jade was inevitably going to use Spencer's animosity towards Kate in her book - a book that is going to earn Jade alot of money. Spencer seriously fell for Kate.

Kate's off to Ibiza next week.

I couldn't care less what a friend of Spencer thought even if he/she is one.Kate could easily have strung a relationship out for the papers but what would be the point if it was a sham-I doubt Spencer would have wanted that either.Kate has never chased money.
There is no animosity from Kate's pov-she's never had a bad word to say about him.

You're right - Kate could have been far richer if she strung things out - but that's not really her style - is it??

What on earth are you talking about. Are you Kate? or a personal friend?
How do you know these things as fact?

If not you are you are just as bad as " spencer's friend on oh spencer"
