Contrived by pressmen who had been slagging Bobby for 7 years and couldn't admit they're wrong. If by some miracle we win the World Cup this year, I expect messrs Powel and the xenophobe-brigade, to do summat similar.

They were aided and abetted by a couple of mischievous players, one of whoms greatest achievement in management was Burnley.

There was a good cricket book I got for xmas too on the ashes summer-by an aussie journalist who writes over here for guardian i think.That's worth a read.
