JADE Goody was pelted with water bombs yesterday as she signed copies of her new autobiography.
The first one landed and exploded on a desk where the 25-year-old Big Brother star was sitting.
But the mum of two stopped the second shot with her hand just before it hit her in the face.
A fan in the crowd at Ottakar's in Southend, Essex, captured the humiliating attack on his mobile phone.
Gavin Pond, 18, said: "A couple of my mates told me she was at the bookshop so I went to have a look and get her on video with my mobile phone.
"She was sitting on a desk signing books for people. Suddenly two balloons came over.
"The first landed on the desk where she was signing books and splashed her. She blocked the second one with her hand.
"She was quite angry. I saw someone get removed by the security guards."
Ottakar's assistant manager Sarah Horsnell added: "Jade carried on with the signings."
