Obo, when I last did Race for Life, the 'present' was a towel. It took ages to get to me but it did eventually arrive...

I agree about the other thing though - printing off your own number etc. Good idea. You could also customise your 'I am running because..' or whatever it is.. online and then print it off...

last year I got my letter of aknowlegement and watch within a week of paying my sponsor money. This year I haven't heard a peep, also this year there seems to have been some admin problems.
!5 people, myself included whop registered weeks before the event, didn't even recieve our packs and had to pick up our numbers and pink thing on the day. We had to print our own sponsor forms. But we did all receive an email with our details within a week of registering. And when I tried to pay through the main website, they said I didn't exist for that race, so I had to pay through my personal fundraising site. It wouldn't surprise me if I never heard anything again! Not so bothered about the watch, but it's nice to have the receipt to show everyone who sponsored me that I didn't just pocket the cash!

Got my letter...and the watch.... the strap is real leather this year which may explain why it's thinner than Victoria Beckham's neck, but I didn't do it for a watch

It is quite sweet really - wouldn't have bothered me if it hadn't arrived though.. as you say, we didn't take part to get a watch
