What are people's opinions on Myra Hindley? Should she ever have been released or should she have remained in prison for the rest of her life. I for one plump for the latter option.

She killed children, in a cruel and sadistic manner and in my eyes, she should never have been considered for release.

Let's hope Satan has got big enough gates to let her in....

If so, she hasn't served her time then. Life should mean life.

I'd like these monsters to rot in jail but without the 'home comforts' that lifers automatically receive. I don't want to pay for their telly or books etc

Too right Alex. How must the families of those murdered children feel when they see Myra Hindley in her graduation outfit splashed over the TV screen? I couldn't care less how many degrees this woman has or how reformed she is. Her and Brady committed atrocious crimes for which they should be punished. And as for people who think such murderers should be given second chances to prove themselves-what about the victims? They will never have a second chance in life nor will their families ever get over their loss.

I don't believe in the death penalty but I think life should mean life and it should be hard labour with basic rations!!!!

Well I shan't shed any tears. Life should mean life, what mercy did she show her victims? As for those who say she was only an accomplice so what? she should have alerted the police as soon as Brady mentioned what he had in mind to do.

I live quite close to Saddleworth Moor, and it's a chilling place at the best of times.

Myra hindley alway proclaimed her innocence of the actual murders, and said she just helped abduct the children. She blamed Ian Brady for the torture, molestation and murder of these poor kids.

In a safe, in a solicitor's office, are letters written by Myra Hindley to Ian Brady in the early days after their convictions. Apparently Hindley has bragged about the killings in the letters.

Ian Brady asked for these letters to be kept secure until he is dead. At that point, hopefully we will finally know the truth.
