I've had two weeks of my holiday, Milly, and it's been brilliant to be in Donegal walking the dog, reading, eating great food and drinking loads of wine.

There's nothing quite like the feeling at the start of the holidays.

Em - for non-teachers the first two weeks at the start of the holidays IS their holiday!

Glad you had a nice break, Vagabond, and hope you, Milly, and all the other teachers and school-y people enjoy their long summer break.

I can't talk - I'm only working 3 days a week this year. :roll:

Been off since 31st of May (well...! Was officially off but helped in local school full time until the end of term as a work experience/volunteer thing) and not back until the middle of September :angel:

I don't finish until Friday, and my son doesn't finish until the following Tuesday. How pointless is that?

Awww I used to love doing those end of year shows in primary school, the Christmas one too.

We do (well did for me :-? ) big music concerts at Christmas and summer in my secondary school so they were good to be in.
