So although she wouldn't have hurt anyone else it was okay to the families of the children who died that she could roam free? IMHO ALL child killers (or people who help child killers) should remain locked away for life.

I think it took more guts to keep her in there! Life should mean life. Why should any killer get any life back after taking another,
especially killers of children, or people who quite willingly (and allegedly enjoy) help killers of children.
