The real blame for the present problems, I feel lay with the government.
1] We are told the country is doing well, low inflation, low unemployment?
Low inflation doesn't help me, I have fixed rate mortgage and it will cost thousands to move.
Low unemployment [my butt] how so when we have illegal imigrants arriving daily for hand outs [I'm referring to econimic migrants, not genuine asylum seekers]
2] House prices, we are told the country is booming?
A male/woman can get a mortgage three and half times their anual income, well £70,000 buys you bugger all and if you add twice your partners income, you may get it to £90,000, which still gets you very little if you live and work in cities.
House prices should never have been allowed to have got so out of control.
Banks are now talking 50 year mortgages as opposed to 25 years.
So you work, you buy, you die.
3] NHS is is great, no long waiting lists, Doctors are having the hours reduced, their going to supply cheap housing for nurses.
Again nothing, our doctors and nurses are paid peanuts, while working long and unsociable hours. Being threatened, is an everyday thing on the wards and A. an E.
We shouldn't be blaming each other, or the footballers as we the public support them in what they do. If we refused to stop buying unreasonable priced cd's the singers etc and record companies would have to do something, but we pay.
The government need to take a look at what they are actually doing to this country and the people who live and work and pay taxes.
The firemen I feel are really caught up in a power struggle.
There are no answers.
