Big Brother: All-Stars: Week 6
Two things bother me about the “All-Star” season of Big Brother. That some of the houseguests clearly aren’t All-Stars, just popular, and the fact that anybody not in either 1) from Big Brother 6, or 2) owns a restaurant with their alliance partner from Big Brother 2, is labeled a floater.

To me, the term floater would be used to describe somebody who is not in an alliance, or playing both sides. But how can somebody have a “floater alliance”, since if they did have an alliance, they wouldn’t technically be called a floater anymore? So, please Big Brother houseguests, stop using the word floater.

Big Brother 7 All Stars:

Howie Goes Out Ugly

Episode 20 Recap by Brandon H.
August 21, 2006

Previously on Big Brother 7 All Stars, we saw Marcellas, the drama queen, get evicted, and then the angels sang! Then, we saw something even cooler-Chicken George won HoH! Who will win veto, what will they do, who will be evicted, and finally, who will be the next HoH? Phew, we have a lot to cover tonight, so I hope there's still some strategy going on.

A Dose of Reality by Paul Phillips

Published: August 21, 2006

As this week begins, the remaining houseguests are reacting to Kaysar being shown the door. Danielle is dejected, worried Kaysar’s going to hold it against her; Erika is having her usual post-Eviction crying jag, waxing on about what an amazing person Kaysar is; George says he was "almost at the point of tears" and this was the "hardest one for me so far". Marcellas is just sad that the Iraqi Peach left the house before he was able to tap that ass. Boo-freakin’-hoo. Note to houseguests: If you all loved Kaysar so much, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE VOTED HIM OUT. Will, at least, is in touch with reality: he says Kaysar’s "been evicted three times in the last year. Sometimes you’re good at things and sometimes you’re not. And, well, I hate to be brutal but maybe this just isn’t the show for him." By the way—what’s going on with Will’s hair? It used to just be big. But now that it hasn't been cut in awhile, it’s flat on top, and the bushiness has traveled down. It’s almost like what I like to call "Housewife Hair": you know, those suburban, middle-aged moms who’ve got those very tight, outdated hairstyles. It’s often a version of whatever look was popular when they were young, and it’s just not cool. It’s hard to explain, but I bet a lot of you know what I’m talking about. Speaking of hair, and speaking of Kaysar, during Kay’s adios interview with Julie, all I could think of (besides Kaysar getting metaphorically bent over and spanked on national tv on his birthday) was: man, are his ears big! If they ever do "Disney Presents: Dumbo on Broadway" Kaysar should totally audition. Now we know why he was so reluctant to shave his head.

Big Brother Spoiler, All Stars Doll Fight

Is Big Brother All Stars rigged to insure that Janelle Pierzina wins? Or is James Rhine just a big whiner? These are the questions that are buzzing among Big Brother fans after another controversial Big Brother competition. Earlier this season, some obvious technical malfunctions resulted in a do over for the HOH competition. The redo wound up benefiting Janelle who went from likely nomination to being head of household. Now, another controversy is playing out on the Big Brother live feeds (stop reading now if you don’t want to know what happened).

Howie Gordon – Big Brother All Stars Loses The Star Of The Show

Hurricane Howie has left the house. The star of Big Brother All Stars is gone. In what has to be considered one of the most unlikely series of events ever on Big Brother, Chicken George won a head of household competition, and then took out the houseguest who had been nicer to him than anyone else in the house. While the other houseguests initially ignored Chicken George and plotted to make him an early evictee, Howie Gordon took time to teach Chicken George the ways of the force.

Big Brother 7: All Stars - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Monday Through Tuesday Afternoon 8/21

August 21, 2006

The house has changed so much since last Friday that it almost doesn't seem like the same folks living there. Between Howie's departure, Janelle's crisis followed by victory and James giving all the way in to his anger... it's not a happy place. Not at all.

Big Brother Spoiler Update:

Poor Janelle by the Big Brother Guru

Poor Janelle. My heart went out to her when Howie left that house. She says it was stratgey, I think not. I think she really was heartbroken, worried, and concerned about her best friend in that house. He left on very bad terms and I think once that hit her and sank in, that she lost it. It was heart-wrenching watching her on the live feeds. Horrible.

All-Stars - Week 8: Part 1

A Dose of Reality by Paul Phillips
Published: August 22, 2006

With this being a double eviction week, Sunday’s episode featured nominations, veto and an eviction, all in one jam-packed night. It was game, game, game. There was little time for those wonderful, unexpected moments—like two guys and two girls having a group grope in the shower—that make Big Brother Big Brother. No, there were no near-orgies, but there was plenty of drama, most notably the return of the dark, desperate side of Howie, and near-fisticuffs that will no doubt go down in Big Brother history.

Big Brother All Stars – Janelle wins POV. Will says the game is fixed!

Written by Jeff Grode
Tuesday, 22 August 2006

Janelle, Will, Danielle, Mike, George, James, Erika: Who will be the winner of Big Brother All Stars?

The housemates talk about how ‘ugly’ Howie was leaving the house. George is excited the apprentice took out the master (referring again to Star Wars). Janelle is surprised Chill Town lied to them, but James feels slightly saddened to see how he’s upset Howie and Janelle knowing he’s partially responsible for it.

Gossip Party Breaking News:
Dr. Will Kirby of Big Brother All-Stars Dumped?

Do you think it's bad being dumped? How about being dumped while you're shut off from the outside world and not even knowing it? That could be the case for a Big Brother All Star!

By Charles Winters, Entertainment Reporter
Posted Wednesday, August 23, 2006

It looks like Big Brother's Dr. Evil, Will Kirby, may have been dumped! The rough part is that he doesn't even know it yet! Dr. Will is currently in confinement playing in CBS's Big Brother All Stars. Before going into the Big Brother house, he was dating Erin Brodie. That's the lady who fooled a whole buncha men in For Love or Money 1 & 2 winning both times!

Big Brother All-Stars Power Of Veto Controversy

After Howie’s elimination, James says he feels bad because Howie was so trusting of Will and Boogie, and they sent him home. Boogie says “Hey buddy, little news flash, you’re playing Big Brother, it’s a game where people lie, don’t know if you got the memo.” Meanwhile, Chicken George giggles and says “Who would have thought the apprentice lightsabers the master out the door?” After Boogie wins HOH, Will is not happy and claims winning HOH is the worst thing that can happen to someone in the house.

Janelle mopes around the house and sobs over Howie’s elimination. All the other houseguests try to cheer up Janelle by paying her compliments. In the diary room, Janelle reveals that it’s part of her strategy to appear weak so everyone else will think that she doesn’t have any fight left in her. Dr. Will tells Janelle that they got rid of Howie to try to force her into a stronger alliance with Chill Town.

Dr. Will and Boogie plot to put Janelle and James up. Their plan is to send whichever one doesn’t win power of veto home. Janelle tells Dr. Will that she no longer feels obligated to him because he backstabbed her, and Dr. Will corrects her and says he stabbed her in the front. Boogie tells Janelle that they are putting her and James up, but they plan to help her win power of veto.

At the nomination ceremony, Boogie follows through on his plan and nominates Janelle and James. Boogie says his reason is because they are both very good at this game. For the veto competition, houseguests are asked questions about former houseguests. Houseguests have to grab a doll representing the houseguest that is the correct answer to the question and return it to a kneeling stone. After each question, one kneeling stone is removed so the last houseguest back is eliminated. During the competition, James and Janelle get in a tussle over a doll, and Janelle winds up winning. James is eliminated from the competition but complains that Janelle had the wrong doll and grabbed the right doll out of his hands. Erika and Janelle are the final two, and Janelle wins power of veto.

After the power of veto competition, James tells Danielle that Janelle scratched him and yanked the Marcellas doll out of his hands. Janelle tells Boogie that her and James fought over Howie, which was the wrong doll, and then she grabbed the Marcellas doll. A slow motion replay of the controversy shows Janelle grabbing the Marcellas doll before James reaches it. Dr Will says “James thinks the show is fixed in Janelle’s favor, well it is, I’m the one fixing it, James.” At the power of veto ceremony, Janelle uses the power of veto to save herself. Boogie nominates Chicken George to take Janelle’s place.

Big Brother 7 All Stars: Who Is Going Home This Week?

Eviction Prediction by the RTVC Staff
August 23, 2006

This past week in the Big Brother 7 All Stars house has been long, confusing, and full of drama. A double eviction week always is.

On Sunday night we saw Mike Boogie win the Head of Household and nominate James and Janelle, both of whom were expecting it.

The Power of Veto competition was held, and not without controversy, James lost it to Janelle. She used the PoV to save herself and Mike replaced her with Chicken George who had been told he would be nominated.

Who will go home Thursday night? Here's what the RTVC staff has to say.

Writer Going Home
Big Sister James
VikingBear James
Brandon H. James
Jenny Lane James
AP N Tenn James
Alisa James

Big Sister Says:
I wonder what James is like outside the house? I tend to think that the way the hamsters act inside the house is very similar to the way the act outside. Most of them claim they are different outside. I don't really buy it. I think their true character simply becomes more obvious inside the house as a result of the stress they live under. That being the case I feel sorry for Sarah. James can be a great competitor and he has the record to prove it. But he behaves like a whining child when he does not get his way. Add in a tendency towards paranoia and self-delusion and he becomes the kind of hamster who will lose the game in spite of himself. And that is what is going to happen this week. James will chat with the ChenBot Thursday because he is a fierce competitor who is also annoying, untrustworthy, and unpredictable. He's the logical target and his time has come.

VikingBear Says:
In one week, James has changed from asset to liability.

Brandon H. Says:
This really was a tough, tough call, because I like George, and James is technically aligned with them. Personal feelings aside, I feel James is more adventageous to get rid of at this point, because then Janelle really is alone (from what I've seen, they still think he's with SeaSix). Though with Will and Booger, it'll probably change right until the voting.

Jenny Lane Says:
This week is double eviction so the show has felt like it's way behind the live feeds. If I was only watching the show, I might have a different prediction, but since I'm also occasionally taking a peek at the live feeds, my prediction is that James will leave. I would have picked George, but Danielle has made a "one week truce" with Janelle and I don't believe she'd have done that unless she has accepted the fact that James is leaving and she will be in need of someone on her side.

AP N Tenn Says:
I think James time has come to an end, he will be blindsided by Chilltown. I would prefer to see Chicken George get the boot, he has too much power, and to think he has waited to nearly the end of the game to float to the top.

Alisa Says:
Can you say "no brainer?" All the ducks are in a row and it's a win-win situation for Chill Town and their Legion of Doom. Dr. E-Will was even willing to sacrifice his adoring robot, Janelle, if things didn't go according to plan. They played it brilliantly, but all credit must go to Janelle. She did win the POV even if she had to eviscerate James in the process. She is untouchable for another week at least. James sees the writing on the wall with an arrow pointing to Sequester House where he and Howie and Marcellas can have a margarita party every night as they plan their sweet revenge.

Big Brother 7 All Stars: "Mommy, She Took My Doll!"
Episode 21 Recap by Jenny Lane
August 23, 2006

Last week on Big Brother 7 All Stars, Marcellas was evicted and threw a tantrum on his way out. Then came the surprise of the season when George actually won something. No "Chicken George" when I'm doing the typing, I just can't bring myself to do it and besides, I gave up poultry years ago. George became HoH (albeit the shortest HoH at two days, and also the HoH with the ugliest room makeover), and nominated James and Erika, which resulted in James throwing a tantrum.

At the Power of Veto competition, James showed off his MacGyver skills and won the crucial PoV. James of course took himself off the nomination block. In a last minute turn of events, George caved under Mike Boogie's pressure and nominated Jedi Howie as James' replacement. Howie, not to be outdone by the other drama kings and queens in the house, threw a tantrum.

Since this is a double eviction week, we've already seen the first eviction of the week. Howie was evicted and threw - say it with me - a tantrum, complete with foot stomping and hat throwing. I must say that I was relieved to see Howie go. I was getting more than a little tired of hearing his voice saying "Jamesie-Wamesie, Janie, Georgie and Dannie" over the live feeds throughout the day.

Mike Boogie is the current HoH which prompts me to ponder his Coup de 'tat power. Can he use the power to change his own nominations? Is the power now invalid since he's already HoH? It wasn't addressed in Sunday's show but we'll hopefully hear more about it as the week progresses.

Whew…I'm exhausted already! Now, on to the show.

There is a lot more if you click on the link but it goes on and on and on so didn't copy it all!
