Another Blue Dragonfly ,don't think it's the same one due to the elapsed time between pictures.

Today whilst experimenting with my latest video camera recorded a number of Butterflies and few Dragonflies.
Edited together I've got a 20 minute video which even in the low quality VCD encoding still comes to 199MB.
This comes to the question ,if I want to make the video available where can I upload it ?
Photobucket has a video file limit of 100MB and a duration limit of 5 minutes. And a can't get the FAQs to work at uk.myspace.com to find out what the limitations are.
Are there any free servers available that would allow it to be uploaded ?

The video would be nice to look at on a cold miserable winter's day. You have close-ups of Red Admirals and Brimstones on various Buddleias plus a cheeky small Dragonfly that kept going back to the same ornamental hanging basket bracket.
The editing isn't anything special but it looks ok.

If you have broadband and might want to view the video then it can be downloaded HERE.

199MB.
Upload at 60K/S took 58 Minutes ,but download at 10Meg takes just under 4 minutes.

Have fun.

By the way ,I spotted after putting it on a DVD that one channel is missing ! I really must sort the scart leads out on the DVD recorder !
Anyway it still makes pleasant viewing for those wet cold dull winters days ,even if the background sound only comes from one speaker.

Looks like I'll have to re-record onto DVDRW and re-edit it again.

I now have a good Stereo version but I haven't uploaded it.

But I've done a separate one with the Dragonfly which is a lot smaller.

Looks like you click the image above to view. It'll tell you if you need to upgrade your flash player plug-in.

Picture quality hasn't suffered too much with the extra compression.

Recorded Sunday with the Panasonic MS4 Camera at x24 Digital Zoom which is really the highest the Digital Zoom is usable at before the picture suffers. Camera has a x100 Digital Zoom ! But it pixelates like most Digital zooms do at there max. The x12 Optical Zoom is good for most things.

On my walk this afternoon I took pictures of swans on the river. One part of the river had loads of swans then you looked further up stream there was a long line of ducks marching across a field towards the river. And the part of the river they were heading for was a mass with Ducks.

Saturday during an event at the local church I ventured up the tower with the camera to capture images of the town.

Tonight when the main computer has completed redering video for another project I'll post a couple of the pictures.

I'm also hoping to order the New Nikon D80 DSLR so it's time to sell my other 2 video cameras and the D50. I emailed a couple of people yesterday but haven't heard back yet. Looks like I might have to use Ebay again.

Anybody know if Jessops do trade-ins ?
If they do do they give good prices ? As I'd trade the D50 with loads of extras plus the Panasonic Digi-Cam against the D80.
