Boogie Evicts Janelle

After Will Kirby’s eviction, Boogie admits that he was “totally flabbergasted.” Will’s surprise eviction also seems to have put a damper on Erika and Boogie’s relationship. Erika says “I think the baby plans are probably going to be put on hold now. I think he’s a little upset with me. I kind of had his best friend booted from the house. It happens.” Boogie says “This is the first time all season that Chill Town really got played. Erika’s been moping around. She had her ugly, long face on all day. She knew all along that she was staying. I give her credit for being, you know, a backstabbing witch.”

Week 10, Part 1: The Fall of Chill Town

A Dose of Reality by Paul Phillips
Published: September 7, 2006

Last week, it truly looked like Chill Town had the game all wrapped up. They successfully "scumbagged" their biggest threat — that would be my girl Danielle. Can we talk about Danielle for a moment? I loved her back in Season 3 and I love her now. Danielle’s reputation as a ruthless, "anything to win" player preceded her — she came in with one of the biggest targets on her back.
She made a monumental misstep the first week, when she declared war on Janelle way too early. But Danielle managed to keep herself in the house, and from then on she played a tough, smart, and all around excellent game.
I can tell you exactly where Danielle went wrong: when she saw the writing on the wall that James was being voted out… she should’ve gotten on board. But she let Chill Town see how furious she was… and that sealed her fate. Boogie and Will knew Dani was coming after them... but they got the power first. Anyway, Danielle, I think you’re awesome, and I am a fan. Great job.

Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Thursday 9/7

September 07, 2006
Jackie

Well, I'll start with the big news first. Mike Boogie won part two of the HOH Competition which was held in the wee hours of the night (here on the east coast, anyway). So, the last part of the competition tonight will have Mike and Erika competing. Janelle is out of the running. If Mike wins HOH, he's sure to take Erika over Janelle to the final two. If Erika wins and is true to her word, she should take Janelle. I guess we'll see just how good "swearing on her mother" is.

Irony Tempered By Poetic Justice

Strategy Commentary by Viking Bear
September 7, 2006

This week in the Big Brother 7 All Stars House, we see irony tempered only by poetic justice. Mike Boogie has won the second phase of the three-part Final Head of Household Competition. He has won a car in the process.

While the season has been great, in one way it has been perhaps disappointing. There has been very little in the way of major luxury competitions and product placements. The producers took things a different direction instead. The major luxury competition was the Graveyard Watch. Mike Boogie got most of the prizes and blamed them on Marcellas. The celebration was overshadowed by Danielle's 24 hours in solitary confinement with a slop bucket and jug of water.

Reality TV Week In Review - Two Of Big Brother's Greatest Stars Evicted

Over the course of Big Brother All Stars, Dr. Will Kirby entertained us with his clever strategy of losing every competition so that no one would view him as a threat that needed to be evicted and Janelle Pierzina thrilled us by always winning competitions when she needed to in order to keep herself in the game. At times, Janelle appeared to be under the complete influence of Dr. Will, but when it came down to the wire, it was Janelle who finally took Dr. Will out of the game.

All Stars - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Friday 9/08

Hmmm... this final two isn't the final two I wanted to see this season, for sure. My personal favorites through the season were Nakomis, Will, and George. Ah, but it's the hand dealt by Big Brother, so I'll deal with it. After all, I don't really know any of these people and, most likely, outside of folks who go on Jeopardy or something, reality television "stars" probably aren't the type of folks I'd hang out with anyway! It personally doesn't matter to me who gets the big bucks in the game. But... Erika and Mike Boogie! Feh, I say! Feh.

Week 10, Part 2: Janelle's Luck Finally Runs Out

A Dose of Reality by Paul Phillips
Published: September 8, 2006

Last night we were down to the Final Three: Janelle, Boogie, and Erika. The Evil Dr. Will is gone, but his memory lives on as we relive his eviction. Turns out Mike was, in fact, just as shocked as he looked. The Chill Town boys didn’t see it coming. Says Mike: "As Janelle started to speak I got a weird feeling in my stomach and I felt like I knew Will was about to be evicted. Will came to me today and said that he was nervous, but I thought he owned Janelle. And Erika seemed resigned to be going home. But the girls just did an excellent job of acting and I’m totally flabbergasted."

All-Stars' evicts Janelle Pierzina, decides Final 2 houseguests

By Steve Rogers, 09/08/2006

Big Brother 7: All-Stars determined its final two houseguests last night, with Janelle Pierzina becoming the twelfth houseguest to be evicted from the show's All-Stars house.

Janelle, a 26-year-old currently living in Miami, Florida, was evicted by Mike "Boogie" Malin, who won the final part of Big Brother 7: All-Stars' three-part final HoH competition live during Thursday night's broadcast.

According to Mike, his decision to keep "showmance" girlfriend Erika Landin and vote out Janelle had nothing to do with the fact that, only two days earlier, Janelle had cast the sole ballot that eliminated Will Kirby, Mike's "Chilltown" alliance partner, from the reality competition.

Bereft Booger Finds a Way Out

Commentary by Alisa
September 8, 2006

Oh, the Sorrow

Never was the real bromance as evident as when Will was evicted by the feisty Janelle. Mike just about fell apart. At first he was so shocked that he couldn't close his mouth for hours. Then grief took over as he literally wept over the loss of his real true love, Will. No wonder Will didn't want Howie kissing him. His heart belonged to another.

The Floater Agenda - Erika Deserves To Win

Commentary by Big Sister And Anthony From Texas
September 9, 2006

Sometimes the Gods smile on you.

The Big Brother 7 All Stars Final Two are now known. They spent last night in the house doing absolutely nothing of interest. Boogie spent a great deal of time picking his nose. Maybe that is the origin of his nick-name.

It’s Saturday and I’m really burnt out. It’s been a long season. Over 200 Big Brother articles are up. I’m trying to formulate a column on the lack of respect that the "floater strategy" receives from Reality TV fans. I’m having a rough time; and then the Gods smiled on me. Into my email box popped a great letter from Anthony in Texas and what did he write to me about? The lack of respect for the "floater strategy". Bless you Anthony

Big Brother: Boogie Loses His Bro-mance

We know it's not cool to love reality tv, but LAist, if you haven't figured it out yet, couldn't give two shits what others think, and we LOVE Big Brother.

This summer we were treated to the Big Brother All-Stars, which featured some of the best houseguests from over the years. The two most annoying were Mike "Boogie" and Dr. Will, who lied to everyone in the house, insulted them, called them all out, and somehow made it to the final four, without ever being seriously in trouble the whole season.

Mike Spanks Janelle, Takes Erika

Episode 28 Recap by Jenny Lane
September 8, 2006

Previously on Big Brother 7 All Stars, with Boogie as HoH, Janelle and Erika were put up for eviction. After Janelle won the PoV, Boogie had no choice but to put Will up for eviction. With the one and only vote and her newfound knowledge that Will had lied to her, Janelle evicted Will.

Big Brother All-Stars Season Episode 27
9-Sep-2006
Written by: Vanessa Yara

The Final Head of Household Competition and Final Eviction.

So we learn Janelle lost the first round of the HOH competition because she took one hand off her key amidst the Mike forfeit drama. Mike goes off to weep in the Diary Room. His DR session consists of him lashing out at Erika by declaring her to have been a "ho-mance." Mike says, "I used that girl up for all I need." Mike then starts to seriously cry while recalling the Chill Town days, "We can dish it out but we can't take it."

Thursday Night Drama Queen: Big Brother 7 All Stars

By Kelly West: 2006-09-08

Tonight’s episode of ‘Big Brother’ ended with last official elimination of the “All Stars” season, leaving us with a somewhat disappointing final two. Janelle made a gutsy move earlier this week by voting to evict Will. The upside to that was seeing Janelle see the light and give Will the boot. The downside to that was that we were left with a pretty weak final three.

The episode picked up right where Tuesday’s episode left off. We got about five minutes of clips from the previous show. Janelle voting out Will, Boogie looking stunned and Erika in the diary room screaming “you go girl!” and all that. The sweet reward to Will’s eviction was seeing Boogie’s teary diary room sessions. Ex-houseguest Jase put it best on the CBS internet talk-show ‘House Calls’ by saying (paraphrasing), “it’s like Boogie’s sitting in the sidecar and he looks over at the motorcycle and sees that no one’s driving it”. While Boogie was devastated that Janelle put an end to his bromance, he wasn’t down for the count.
