TELLY star Davina McCall gave birth yesterday to a 10lb 2oz lad called Chester.

The sizeable boy is the Big Brother host’s first son.

Davina, 38, already has two daughters, Holly Willow, four, and Tilly, two.

She had Chester at her Surrey home with husband Matthew Robertson by her side.

Last night a pal said: “Davina had a natural birth, just like her other two.

“There were no complications and everything went smoothly.”

Chester’s arrival is the highlight of a tough professional year for Davina.

Her BBC1 chat show was a ratings and critical disaster, pulling in just 2.5 million viewers.

But the pal said: “The new baby beats everything — he’s gorgeous.”

Davina will be back on TV in January to host Celebrity Big Brother.

It means she has just four months to lose her baby weight.

The brunette famously shed two stone after the birth of Tilly — by signing up to gruelling workouts with former marine Mark Wren.

Davina admitted she had put on so much weight, “I was convinced Matthew would run off with someone else.”

Well done Davina she must be over the moon at the birth of her son.

One of my sister's was 13lb-12oz at birth. My dad said when he was trying to get her walk when she was about 10months he used to prop her up against the wall but she would slide back down because she was so heavy. ::lol:: ::lol:: I have to say she is not overweight now. ;)

Congratulations to Davina and family on the birth of Chester.

Not sure about the name either and I wondered about the "conceived in Chester" thing too.

13lbs 12oz is HUGE when I had my first - 9.4oz there was a 12lbs10oz in he nursery and she filled the crib. I like the likkle ones me.

DAVINA OUT THE HOUSE

BIG Brother's Big Mother Davina McCall is all smiles as she gets out and about with new baby Chester near her Surrey home.

But carting the tot about in his car seat looks to be taking its toll on the TV star, 38, - who admitted recently she was "exhausted" after the birth three weeks ago.

Davina already has two other kids, Holly, four, and Tilly, two. dailyrecord
