Thanks, as always, to Jezi, for bring Cameron's column to us.

That article is a magnificent tribute to an obviously wonderful man.

It must hurt so much, to lose a Dad like that.

But the spirit of the loved one lives on in those they leave behind.

My mother died suddenly, aged 69, from a brain haemorrhage. But it feels like she lives on in my family now, and I realise that I'm more like her than I'd ever have thought.

Mr Stout certainly sounds like he lived life to the full, and his legacy will live on in his family.

As Trolleydolley said 'a life well lived', indeed.

That was a beautiful piece of writing! I hope it helped you writing it, putting your thoughts on paper and sharing memories with us about your Dad.

Come back soon we all miss you!

The full column is on the website this week again :)

This Is Aberdeen for the treatment of 2 Scottish football fans, car stickers being given out about Aberdeen being the happiest place, restoration to an Orkney building, Davina's baby and the price Bridget Jones' pants were sold for.

'Les Andrew and Michael Gallacher had gone over to watch the Scotland versus Lithuania football match.

But they ended up being kidnapped, beaten and robbed.'

They should have asked few tips from Finns before travelling to Lithuania - how to keep yourself safe over there. They are lucky to be alive. Really.

The majority of the column (his new diet for the panto/crisp advert, global style icons and Aberdeen winning part of Britain in Bloom AND the international one :) ) is on the website so click HERE.

However they've missed out the bit about dentists and how Orkney is having as much bother trying to get dentists as NE Scotland but he saw a polish dentist who was very good but she went back to Poland for 5 weeks and everyone was worried she would not get back to Orkney however she is which is obviously good!

It's up again this week so click here to read it.

Gadgets, HMT being twinned, Christmas coming too early, Shakira and record breaking pay cheques are this weeks hot topics! (with Cameron, not Imogen I hasten to add!)

I just can't stop wondering at Madonna's financial state of mind! She's awesome - no matter do I like her or not.

And I liked the point of view: 'Welcome to the real world of 'riders'' ::lol::

I knew there was a bit missed out from in the paper but couldn't remember - he said about a farmer finding a 4 legged chicken on his farm with thousands of chickens so was fair amazed that he'd managed to spot it! And how they'd be perfect for a family of four where everyone wants a drumstick lol!

They've put this weeks column in 2 sections so this is the one with all the "wee" bits - going to Spain for a week, a local lass winning Miss UK, political correctness and Charlotte Church's swearing. HERE

The main bit was about his trip to the Arctic in the summer and their Nessie type creature - HERE

They don't seem to have put the column on the website this week which is a bit of a pain... the muppet goes to Spain and they forget all about him ;)

This week it's about going to Spain and asks "will (he) find Miss Right there?" - he says there are positive and negative aspects of being single. Also about having to make a Spanish will while over there this time and how November is Will Aid month where many of the offices etc will donate the fee to charity.

How fab the Fiddlers' Rally was in the Music Hall on Saturday night and how it took him back to playing with the West Mainland Strathspey and Reel Society in Orkney. Also about his boiler getting sorted after months of trouble and how he's glad to see the price guidelines for tradesmen.

In this week's column the main bit is about his holiday to Spain (heehee @ Costa del Dreich ::lol:: ) Clickhere for that.

The rest is all spread out so click here and you'll get the links to Aberdeen monopoly, banning Halloween and Paul & Heather McCartney.

I'm very much looking forward to the Aberdeen Edition of Monopoly - that's on our most wanted Christmas present list this year. I'm also hoping for a new Terramundy savings pot - I had to break my last one to get the money out! ::lol::
