I'm looking for a book for my mum but I don't know the name of it.

There was a man on This Morning with Fern Britton and Philip Schofield last week and he was a survivor of child abuse.

Apparently Fern Britton was almost in tears (and so was my mum) he's written a book about his childhood (similar to A Child Called It by the sounds of it) but my mum cant' remember his name.

Did anyone see him on the This Morning Show, with Fern Britton and Philip Shofield to know his name or the title of his book? Apparently the book came out about a week ago

Thanks!

How did your mum find it Dame Edna?

I read it this week. The first half of it was pretty graphic and I needed a strong stomach to get through it. I must admit these books written about terrible childhoods can sometimes bug me. It seems hundreds of them pop up since a child called it. To begin with this book had the same feel, however the outcome was more inspired. The author actually murdered his abuser and went to prison for it. He also says that he doesn't condone murder (it wasn't premeditated) and talks frankly about his life with his two sisters one who was severely disabled and all children were terribly abused.

Not all 'my childhood was so terrible' books are worth reading but I think this one is.
