Any experts on this game ?
I want to know how you get across the rope bridge after coming out of the caves without the bridge collapsing or Lara getting killed by the baddies on the otherside ?

There is a website that talks you through most of the game but when the PS2 was packed away as Summer set in I'd tried for hours to get past this bit and failed and so have just set-up the PS2 again and am about to try to continue with the game.

Walkthrough

Help please.

I can jump the first part of the bridge that gets shot out from the helicopter but always fail to jump the second one. The walk-through says run and jump over the gaps.

If you pause after the first one Lara gets shot.
Lara can land on the rope along the gap as I've done it once by accident but then fell off.

The second gap seems too big to jump and I don't think you can use the whip while Lara is in mid-air to grab the supports for the bridge.

And I'm getting fed up of watching the video that runs as to come out of the cave as there isn't anyway to bypass the damn thing !

I'm wrong if you get it right on the second gap Lara just hangs on and pressing and holding the jump buttons makes her do a hand stand and your over the bridge.
If your really lucky and can jump at the very last pixel then she'll land with one foot on the land run on to the other side.
Shooting all the gaurds is the easy bit.

The walk-through must be a PC one as the discriptions don't quite match the PS2.

Next level Peru.
Kick the football at the house with flags.
The house it talks about with a box around the back is an outbuilding on the PS2 but jump to hang onto the roof then hold jump the do the handstand to land on the roof ,walk and jump the get onto the main roof. If you then pan the camera upwards you'll see the shimery lamp. Now pan the camera down so you can see the roof clearly ,walk forward to the edge of the last roof jump and jump again in mid-air to grapple the lamp press forward to swing and release oncce over the opposite roof.
Jump into the courtyard and you should be able to collect the bronze shield.

Actually just follow the walk-through.

Once you kill all the gaurds you'll need to collect a riffle and amo to shoot the last one on the balcony as the hand guns don't reach.

I must be out of practice as these kids games are quite challenging. They make them sound so easy !!
Harry Potter took ages to complete ! Not helped with a nasty software bug in the graveyard where your only option was to restart the level.
