I'm really sorry to hear that Madeline, I know exactly how you feel and I had that for 8 months! it wears you out and is probably just if not more stressful than being in a job!

that's true they have some great coffee machines, almost a small and cheap version of Starbucks! ::lol::

you can get some amazing drinks machines - they have this one in uni and it is amazing!!! Friend and I were standing there just staring at it in absolute awe, when you put in the money and select the drink and this thing goes up to the drink then the drink falls into it, door shuts, the thing containing the drink travels down to a vault, the vault door opens then the container with the drink opens and it kinda tips it in!! Was so exciting the first time and the friend was like "oh my goodness, you don't get these in *where he comes from*!" ::lol:: ::lol:: We got some funny looks...!

Sorry  You can't mention drinks machines now without that story being told.

Congrats on your new job Chad ()^

Bad luck Madeline :-( I hope you have more luck at your next interview.

Those machines are funny, Jezi, terribly old-fashioned. He probably finds it amusing that someone so young likes something rather antiquated! It's funny isn't it that the wow factor in coffee now is to have a real life person make it in a 50s type gaggia/etc, whereas 20 years ago, automation was the thing!

Seriously?! That thing doesn't seem old-fashioned at all... had never seen anything like it - it was brilliant!

This wasn't a coffee maker though, it had water/lucozade etc in it.

Yeah big sis, have seen ones like that before where they drop out the bottom but this thing is actually amazing. I am very tempted to making a video on my digital camera (only figured out it could make videos 2 year after getting it...) but would have to wait until it was quiet...!

Though sorry for going so off topic.

Did your first week go well Chad?

We got a Tassimo machine as a wedding present - bit of a gimmick, but it makes good Tea, Coffee (or so Martin tells me because I don't like it) and Hot Choccie and so effortless too! :D

 Yes thanks Jezi, I have more of an idea what they expect and it's just a matter of learning all the new things really, plus I can start my flexi tomorrow so hopefully I won't be wondering round town going to Starbucks, but I will miss that coffee machine, I think at this new place you have to bring your own! :-(

I think it will just take a while to settle in and get to know folks, but people have made me feel welcome already, so that was nice! Thank you for asking though, Madeline just keep going for the jobs, I know it's difficult but you'll get something I'm sure, it's just a matter of time, that's what I kept telling myself anyway. :D
