Oh that is awful news
Far too young to die. He was a great player, I always enjoyed watching him. My lasting memory of him will be the 2003 Semi Final when he fought against Ken Doherty, one of the best snooker matches I have ever seen. That was the first time I saw him play and his presence and flair at the table won me over and he's been a favourite player of mine since.
I remember back in April this year when he came out in the Championship and played the first round match despite going through treatment for his cancer at the same time. Always had a smile on his face.
