TARBUCK IN HEART ALERT
By Lara Gould Tv Reporter

COMIC Jimmy Tarbuck was forced to pull out of last night's Strictly Come Dancing due to a heart murmur.

Bosses fear Tarby, 66, may not be well enough to take part in the rest of the show.

An insider said: "He has been complaining of feeling unwell during the last two rehearsals."

He will now undergo tests to find the cause of the murmur. sundaymirror

STEP UP FOR THE SLATING

The Beeb's Strictly Come Dancing marathon is under way and already the competition is intense.

Forget the dancers, the real contest is between the four judges of the apocalypse as they try to outdo each other in a cringe-making game of second-division verbal dexterity.

"Matt by name, matt by nature," said old Len Goodman after rugby star Matt Dawson's lead-footed performance with partner Lilia Kopylova, "There was no gloss!"

Brilliant! What a fantastic put-down. Not.

Arlene "croaky-voice" Phillips also desperately tried to hog the limelight while committing crimes against the English language.

"My eyes were glued to your face," she mysteriously told cricketer Mark Ramprakesh, "Then they dropped to your hips." What?

Craig Revel Horwood made his bid for fame by telling everyone they're rubbish. Which they are. And with his new hair-by-Velcro look, extreme Italian Bruno Toniolli told DJ Spoony: "With a name like that you don't need a joke."

Thank God.

Back to Len, who revealed: "My expectations of Emma Bunton are very high." That's what they said when the Spice Girls split and she launched her solo career... sundaymirror

Hope Tarby's Ok though I think he's too old and unfit for this type of dancing never mind all the gruelling rehearsals beforehand.

I missed seeing Caroal and Mica dance this week. I@m gutted that Ian and Mica went this week... only because I won't get to see Ian dance in coming weeks - I love watching him dance, he always has great dance routines.

I feel sorry for Georgina having James as her partner, they don't seem to get on and I think it reflects in their dancing ...a bit like Brendan and Sarah (whatshername?) from previous show.IMO

Emma surprised me, I really didn't think she'd be THAT good, well done to her.

Oooh I had to laugh at Peter Schmicel (sp) trying to jive during the mens' group dance - he was all over the place. ::lol::

Louisa and Vincent were brill!

Great show tonight, I think Georgina, Jan or Matt will get voted off because as far as I could see they were the worst dancer's.

Once again I thought Mark was brill.................... @^@

I can't BELIEVE Spoony was voted out over Jan and Georgina! The tango may not have been Spoony's best dance ('though I thought he performed it good enough) but he had way more potential than Jan or Georgina....it's such a shame! I was as shocked at the result as Len Goodman looked.

Lousia and Vincent are a pleasure to watch - Lousia looks like she may be as good as Jill Halfpenny.....better than Emma at the momen, just about.IMO

Ray and Lillia were good, not as good as last week though but I'm sure he'll do better in other dance routines.....he's soooo handsome!

Mark looked the part and danced well - it's weird, Mark has the looks but something about him leaves me cold, what I mean is he has no sex appeal as far as I'm concerned.

I thought Clair and Brendan did well...good rapport between them and Clair looks sexy when she dances - whereas Carol, although she has a good figure and can move well has no passion about her.

Peter Schmicel (sp) had a look like Frankenstien's monester (God bless him) but he's doing well.

I've only recently started watching this. I am amazed that Georgina, whoever she is, is still in it. Mark Ramprakash doesn't look as sexy in a tux as he does in cricket gear.

EXCLUSIVE TV DUO'S FURIOUS ROW

TEARS and tantrums amid the tangos... it's more like Murder on the Dancefloor than Strictly Come Dancing.

In these amazing scenes, Georgina Bouzova is left sobbing after TV partner James Jordan lets fly with a vicious four-letter tirade.

Latin American expert James, furious after the Casualty beauty grumbled about a routine, jabbed his finger and spat: "You're the laziest person I've ever met. It's not f***ing rocket science. You're a prima donna."

And he cruelly told her he backed judge Arlene Phillips' jibe that she could not even walk properly.

She called him a "b*****d" and fled. Georgina, 30, shown right with him in costume, has stepped on his toes in more ways than one.

They often argue and her dance flaws see them finish in the bottom two each week.

A BBC1 insider said: "There's no chance of them being friends. This could be their last week anyway." mirror

The Fourth Show result
Which couple left the ballroom for good?

Which couple left the ballroom for good?

With feelings running high amongst the contestants, the stage was set for a tense and dramatic results show. Brendan's earlier outburst hadn't won him any friends on the panel, with both Arlene and Len naming him as the one who should be leaving.

In no particular order, the couples safe this week were announced: Ray and Camilla, Emma and Darren, Mark and Karen, Louisa and Vincent, Carol and Matthew, Matt and Lilia, Peter and Erin (to Peter's massive relief), and Claire and Brendan.

So who'd be dancing another week? The public had had their say, and it was Georgina and James who were waving goodbye to Strictly. Georgina didn't let the disappointment get to her. "I've had the best time of my life... and I think I'll carry on dancing," she said. And James had warm words for his partner, saying that "Even the judges would agree she transformed herself from a non-dancer to a dancer."

On next week's show we'll see the nine remaining couples performing a stately Viennese Waltz, or a sizzling Salsa. Don't miss it! BBC

Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing was apparently in crisis last night after the show's stars threatened to walk out over alleged vote fixing, according to the Daily Express.

The paper said the judges have become 'too personal' and are supposedly waging vendettas against celebrity contestants

The remaining dancers, including Spice Girl Emma Bunton and TV presenter Carol Smillie, are apparently annoyed at what they say was an attempt by the panel at 'fixing' the vote to get rid of Brendan Cole.

8.5 million viewers saw 30-year-old Brendan and judge Len Goodman wag their fingers furiously at each other and at one point the show's presenter Tess Daly even had to put her hand over Brendan's mouth to stop him from cursing.

Fans were stunned when Bruce Forsyth called back the judges 'to explain themselves' - and the Express claims this was to apparently avoid a dancer revolt.

The row supposedly erupted after Brendan's foxtrot with Bad Girls star Claire King was given marks as low as four out of 10.

Judges Arlene Phillips and Len Goodman angered the situation further when they urged viewers to vote Brendan off the show.

Producers are said to be organising a 'clear-the-air' meeting between the contestants and judges to see if they can resolve the situation before this weekend's show. waveguide
