A DESPERATELY sad job application comes from
Eugene Sully, whom a vanishing few of you may recall came second on Big Brother a couple of years ago. (Second? Is this something to celebrate?) Sully claims to be “the ultimate gadget guy”.
He’s been on telly a couple of times since and is now seeking employment. He’s none too particular, understandably, as his “career” approaches the nadir of its lowest point.
“Eugene can offer advice, explanations and a quirky take on all up-and-coming technology,” his application says. “The insight Eugene could offer on all aspects of technology, as well as his experience on TV and radio . . .”
Eugene, it’s over. Finished. The micro-celebrity caravan has moved on, having spawned another 163 Eugenes since your moment in front of the cameras. Back to your semi in Pinner with your press cuttings and your memories . . .
