just a quick update on the state of my neighbour's eardrums......

the cello practicing is going very well actually - I can play all my pieces and all my scales/arpeggios - and there's still TWO weeks to go!! (exam two wks tomorrow)

However, sometimes it sounds quite ok, other times very screechy - and I have no real idea what I am doing differently. Cameron suggested it was the angle I was holding the bow at and tbh (although I hate to admit it ) I think he's right

anyway - thanks again for all the sponsors - I have raised £360 (plus £77 gift aid) online, plus £67 on my sponsor sheet.

the cello exam was this afternoon.......and I passed with Distinction!!

(the mark is out of 150 - 120+ is merit, 130+ for distinction)

I am really chuffed with myself - sad I know - and grateful for all the sponsors. Current total is about £630. Thanks again abody xx
