“JADE’S HOSPITAL ORDEAL,” announces the Sun’s front page.

It’s Jade Goody. She’s on the cover of the Sun. And she’s on morphine.

Instantly our minds whirl. Realising the part played by Kate Moss in the undoing of Colombia, we worry that Jade’s links to morphine will glamourise the drug.

If so, it cannot be too long before Afghanistan - where much of the world’s opium and its derivative are produced for cattle feed, hats and matting – is embroiled in war.

That for later. For now, the pain is all Jade’s. The Sun (Jade’s on morphine and she’s terrified”) says that the Big Brother star has collapsed with stomach pains.

A bad kebab? Or something less life threatening? We cannot be sure. And, as the Sun says, Jade is waiting on the results of a barrage of tests.

“Brave” Jade is hoping for good news. As a friend says: “Jade is absolutely terrified and the family are on tenterhooks. We’re all praying it isn’t serious.”

It’s finger crossed for brave/terrified Jade, who has passed the time reading up on the effects of bowel cancer.

But she should be fine. Jade’s lover, one Jack Tweedy, tells the paper: “She’s in there with a stomach complaint. But she will be fine...There is nothing to worry about.”

But we are worried. It’s is for no small thing that Jade ends up in hospital and cancels an appearance on a Weakest Link special.

So the Sun wants its readers to email their best wishes to Jade. The paper will pass them on to her and print the best ones.

JADE Goody faces an agonising three-week wait to see whether she has bowel cancer.

The reality TV star was taken into hospital to be tested for the disease after she suffered crippling pain and began passing blood. Doctors had to give her morphine to ease the pain.

Jade, 25, said: "I am worried about bowel cancer but I have to wait three weeks for the test results. I'm young so, hopefully, everything will be OK. But it is worrying."

Speaking from her home in Chipping Ongar, Essex, the mum-of-two added: "It wasn't just a swab test, it was more serious than that."

Jade had the procedures at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.

She added: "They were great in hospital and my mum's been great and Jack's been fantastic." Jade admitted it has been a stressful time following allegations that boyfriend Jack Tweed had been unfaithful.

She said: "I don't know if stress would cause something like this."

The former Big Brother star said she planned to rest but was looking forward to taking her children, Bobby, three, and Freddy, two, to a fireworks display.

She added: "I feel OK but I'm going to take it easy."

Jade has a history of abdominal problems. A year ago she collapsed with stomach pains. In 2004, she had an ovarian cyst.

She did the London Marathon this year but collapsed and admitted her training consisted of eating curry and drinking. Mirror

Only Jade.

This is not the first time Jade has been rushed to hospital with tummy trouble. I'm sure no one would wish for her to be told she has bowel cancer or any other cancer for that matter
But if she is putting it on to deflect the bad press she has got over her and her boyfriend's domestic violence issues they have had the last couple of weeks she should be ashamed of herself.
Well that is asking too much where she is concerned I know because she will do/say anything to mantain a press profile........I'm sure if her friends at Heat, Closer and OK would only give her failed Jade's PA show on Livingtv a mention the pain in her tummy would disappear overnight.

I sincerely hope that she is fine, I really do.


My point was that this should surely be a private matter, at least until they have diagnosed her.

Our thoughts are with poor Jade Goody this morning. The Big Brother star is in hospital, anxiously awaiting test results, after collapsing with crippling stomach pains.

The brave mum-of-two has been given morphine for her pain and is being visited by mum Jackie Budden and boyfriend Jack Tweedy. A friend revealed: “Jade is absolutely terrified and the family are on tenterhooks. We’re all praying it isn’t serious.” The pal added that Jade had increased her fears by reading up on the effects of bowel cancer. “She’s done her own research – which probably wasn’t advisable until getting the test results – and is now very frightened.”

Jade was rushed to hospital after falling ill at her Essex home on Sunday, and has remained under observation since. The reality star, who’s been forced to postpone a Weakest Link special, is now being treated in a private room at Harlow’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Sadly, it’s not the first time Jade’s suffered abdominal problems. Just over a year ago, she collapsed – again complaining of “excruciating” stomach pains – at her beauty salon Ugly’s. We’re sure you’ll join us in wishing her a very speedy recovery.

PHEW! Jade Goody has been given the all clear.

It is good of the Sun not to keep us in the dark. And one day on from hearing that lovable Jade punched a grandma in the face, the Sun tells us that she is dong fine.

“Fighting fit” Jade Goody has been given the all-clear from bowel- cancer.

As reported in these pages, Jade was having tummy troubles. And while many feared a rogue kebab had done its damnedest, there was talk of something even worse.

Jade went in for “a barrage” of tests at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex.

Jade was worried. What could be wrong? Did Jade’s troubled mind cause her to lash out at the Edmonton Odeon, the scene of her granny bashing? Can too much curry sauce be bad for belly and brain?

We waited. We fretted. We paced the corridor. We nipped out for a kebab. We left the kebab uneaten.

And now after what seems like forever, the Sun says the Jade does not have cancer. It is our guess that Jade does not have lot of other very dangerous diseases.

Right it is that she is happy. As a “pal” tells us: “Jade is delighted – she was really worried. The doctors don’t know yet what caused the pain but they have ruled out cancer, which is fantastic.”

No argument with that. It is a time to celebrate.

And what better way to mark this great moment than with a kebab? More curry sauce, please, my good man.
