Thanks Muppet, thanks a lot

::lol:: ::lol::

anyway yeah, they've put a bit on the website - it's about him missing the Aberdeen's champions awards. So click here for that. It's been taking a while to load this afternoon, just so you know.

The rest contains a rant about insurance companies and how often it turns out you're not covered for whatever your problem is - he relates it to his house in Spain and also about his boiler issues. Hee hee though @ "I can't wait to let them know my kitchen roof has leaked. You can probably claim for all leaks - except those involving water or other liquids." Jim'll Fix It coming back and how he wrote in when he was young asking for his brother to have a shot steering the QE2 ship. Going to the Holburn church open week next week which seems to have lots of events and entertainment. And how this weekend is the 125th anniversary of the Fishermen's Mission and they're having a night of entertainment with stories and memories on Saturday.

*hangs head in shame...* Have been a bit busy sorry and kinda forgot until last night

He speaks about all the chucking out of stuff he had to do last week because of a young couple coming to stay with them as their house got damaged in the storms in Orkney and how he's now a reformed hoarder ::lol::

Having a murder mystery party last weekend and although he wasn't sure at first ended up really enjoying it, especially when he got "shot" and ended up as the host for the evening.

How he was going to London on Tuesday to "hopefully to receive an award on behalf of Glasgow-based charity ‘Sanctuary in the City’. The urban café project in the city’s Sauchiehall Street has been shortlisted from 55 entries in the "Community Innovation for New Projects" category after a UK-wide search to find three projects suitable to receive a share of £15,000. Sanctuary will be showcased at the awards ceremony at the House of Commons in the presence of MPs, potential funders and other guests." (sorry, have switched off  )

oh and the last bit was about how Scottish girls apparently spend more money on clothes etc than French girls do.

Sorry - promise next week it'll be back to normal!

I found the Sanctuary in the City bit sufficiently interesting to Google it.

Sounds like a great project.

It is. Council planning knocked back the licensing application last Thursday, so Sanctuary is seeking alternative premises afaik.

Woah it's Monday and I'm doing the summary - what is going wrong?!! ;)

Anyhow, this week the bit about him starting panto rehearsals is on the website HERE.

Speaks about chucking all his stuff out again and having to decide over what to do with the first car he bought, an MG Midget. After an accident a few years ago it has been waiting for an insurance battle to get sorted out so isn't looking as good as it used to. Instead of getting it scrapped he remembered about a car dealer who has a liking for that type of car so has advised him to take it to him so at least it's not getting totally scrapped. The other bit is about laughing at the nice serving suggestion with salad on the packet of SPAM fritters.

They've put it all on the website this week, what a boost :D Oh I mean "shame" that you don't have to put up with my rambled version hehe!

This is the main bit about asking celebrities for their autographs and not realising it was Pete in the book shop last week - read that HERE.

Other bits about Children in Need HERE, the start of panto rehearsals HERE and test driving a car/what was the most memorable present on his 10th birthday HERE.

(sorry if I've got those links muddled, will check it later but have to go now!)

Not sure what the subs did there - the car was £132,000 not £40,000.
