I will name names,

Mr Haversam, yummy English teacher we all had a crush on
Mr Lewis, French cos of his French accent
Mr Jones Music, cos he liked to play good records in class
Miss Jackson, biology, for embarrasing silly giggly boys when it came to reproduction, and for doing the sex ed stuff and flicking condoms
Mr Thurman English, he was a Jehovah Witness and in out silly infantile minds we found it funny to put up christmas decorations and send him xmas cards
Mrs Darlington, a fantastic primary school teacher who taught me and my siblings, and wiped weepy eyes and snotty noses as needed

people forgetting the true meaning
people going manic in the shops
people buying stuff they blatantly don't need
despite buying all this stuff queuing out of the door in Tesco on the 27th buying "essentials" despite the fact on the 24th they stocked up on more than enough of them
routine going out the window
school being shut (well when I was at school)
