Yippeee the column's back!

This time they've put the majority on the website but missed out a wee bit about how his resolution is often partly to give himself more time off but it never works however with his flights booked for Australia and New Zealand that's all changed this year.

Anyhow click HERE for the rest - bits on Celebrity Big Brother, saying happy new year and a wee bit about Christmas, bills not adding up properly and seeing Hot Cross Buns etc in the shops last week and being rather shocked by it!

Only bonus Muppet, I'd never have remembered to give you that cake if you hadn't taken those hot cross buns out the bag lol even if it is ridiculously early.

They've missed out one bit again like last week, this time about Celebrity Big Brother where he says about Leo leaving and how the CBB contestants should remember BB can change the rules at anytime etc.

The rest is HERE however and it's about karaoke, not wanting to be Charlotte Church's neighbour and a fruit that smells like tablet....

Karaoke......brrrrrrrrrrrr! I've got the shudders!

And those little green conical cauliflowers-don't waste your money, they're just as dull as cauliflowers. Only 5 times the price.

Thanks CT - think was, they are only 67p or so here in Glasgow, must be cheaper than London. They are grown in Scotland, maybe that's why.

They've done the same again so click HERE for Celebrity Big Brother, being in search of antlers (....!!), panto nearly coming to an end and the Glasgow weather.

Only bit they've missed is a bit about different types of music bringing back memories of different events and how people get nostalgic looking at compilation CDs and the like.

Sorry, had the paper but totally forgot about the column this week.... only been doing this for like 2 years now so I dunno how! Och well.

The main bit was about road rage and how a colleague from the panto got her windcreen smashed after trying to get into a space where a guy's car was partly blocking it and asking him to move it twice. The lady and her mother were shaken by it and called the police with the details of the guy's car so he got a warning.

Mentions how Spanish shops are putting curvier figured manniquins in shop windows as they hope it'll help stop eating disorders.

The other bit has some "Christmas facts" in that apparently people (I dunno if it's British people or further as well or what, it doesn't say) sent 2 billion cards, bought 8 million trees, bought 7 million mince pies (for Christmas Eve), 6 million rolls of "sticky tape" and 500 tons of brussel sprouts.

Apologies as they haven't put it on the website again so you'll have to make do.

The main bit is about Cameron getting wound up by bad use of the English language and how English grammar is not really taught. He says he learnt more about how our language is formed when learning French and learnt the most while teaching French and English in Spain. He speaks about the "baffling" rules for English grammar and then goes onto how bad punctuation winds him up too! (I dread to imagine how many mistakes there are just in that wee summary  )

In other news... he speaks about the kind of recently published book about HMT. The theatre is in it's centenary year so a man called Edi Swan has written about the history etc. He's been invited to the opening of Cherise from BB Africa's charity project at the end of April so the trip to New Zealand won't be the only foreign adventure this year. Being interested to hear about plans for average speed cameras at the Beach Boulevard but apparently they're now going to put in the normal ones. Perfect sentence in "I personally, I find them a real deterrent to speeding." :P Imagine that's probably the EE rather than Cameron mind you, they're bad for mistakes. Oh and finally there's a wee plug for the Mr & Mrs competition, see the relevant thread if you want to know more...

4 posts in a row, I'm going to get done for spamming lol.

The main bit of the column today is just about the fun Cameron had doing the Mr & Mrs competition and the laugh they got from some of the responses to the more obscure questions etc. Also saying how one couple who'd just been together just a few days did better than some who'd been together for ages.

Getting a lovely surprise when Kim Duguid (last year's golden rose winner) waited for him and gave him a rose and valentine's card, awww!

Staying in the same hotel as the designers Colin and Justin (they've been star guests in a play in the city this week, it was very funny if you're interested!) and thankfully saying his suite in the hotel was nice when they asked him as one of their mates designed it!

While I've got it open...

The main feature in the column is Cameron taking part in the Thirst for Life challenge for the 2nd year this lent. He says that the remember not to drink is actually worse than the not drinking and found last year it wasn't that he "craved" it but more it being a habit in certain situations. He says it will likely be more difficult this year because it covers the time he's in New Zealand so it'll be weird at sporting events/barbecues etc. http://www.thirstforlife.org for more info ()^

Saying how his number has come up both months so far this year in the Premium Bond draw (alright for some!) and says how it's a nice feeling getting notified of it.

Oh and last but most certainly not least ( ;) ) mentions how from April there's going to be a daily flight to Brussels from Aberdeen. Comments that it's more the people from there who are lucky to be getting flights to ABZ every day as because he used to have to go there often for work so it's not his #1 holiday destination but there are good points such as the main square lit up at night and the mussels and chips...!

Last bit's getting pinned on my pin board {@} ;) :D

Still trying to pack! It's exciting though - I'm really looking forward to the holiday. We're stopping for a few days near Sydney with a friend of mine and his wife, then we go on to New Zealand and explore for a while. On the way back we're stopping in Hong Kong for a couple of days which will hopefully break up the jet-lag a bit.

Will try to get on with an update and hopefully some photos.

Arrived safe and sound - have had a great day so far, seeing the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. We went across on the ferry to a place called Manly for lunch. Having a break back at the house just now and will be off out to the rugby later on.
Another update soon...
