Who has the best single?

For me it's the girls one Sound of the Underground... very different. The boys are just another boy band IMO.

I quite like Sacred Trust - it reminds me of a song that I can't put my finger on though! I thought it might be Jason Donovan, Too many broken hearts, but I don't think it is, lol!!
I can see Sound of the Underground growing on me though. But they've murdered Stay Another Day.....urgh!

Anyone (JB?) know where I can get the Girls Aloud song?

Yeah I aggree Nicki, it does sound like Jason Donovan....but I don't like it!
You can tell it's a PW production straight away.
I like the girl's one.

I think the girls are going to beat the boys on this one.
The boys song is a bit 'safe' whereas the girls is better everytiime you hear it and I think it will be more popular with the buying public. (but I could be wrong, as I often am!)

Don't bother trying to get the 'Stay Another Day' song cos it's the East 17 version, and if you do find the one by Girls Aloud then it's from the Tv programme and they don't sing too well....the Sound of the Underground is kosher though.......I'd wait a lil while before getting the Bside.

Ive not heard either in full but I'm inclined to wanna support the boys (with the exception of matt who id happily kill), IMO 2 of the girls (the geordie and one of the others(!!!)) have NO BUSINESS being there...


Nicola is incredibly talented especially when you consider she's only 17....Sarah (the one that beat javine?) had progressed well and has performed well (she also has the pop look)... The irish one is okayish but the other two *SIGH*

Does anyone else think Javine knew she wasnt in because she'd already set up a solo career...she didnt seem suprised or bothered

Officially she signed to polydor after the result came in, but it seems pretty obviouse that she would be wasted in a group and Louis said that on many occasions. More than likely they are thinking about doubling their money, the have the girls and a new solo artist out of it rather than just a girl band.

Its all about the money not the talent or the abitions of these young kids.

I had dinner with someone from Jive and he said that they only had plans for 2 singles and an album for the boys, anything else would be a bonus.
