Do you think plain white lights on the tree are better than coloured? I do.
But my boyfriend insisted we have coloured ones on the windows upstairs, but I don't mind cos I can only see them when I come in or go out.

PS....I'm bored!

Well I have to compromise don't I?
And I do have young children!
Don't usually go for tinsel, but I found some really nice ones that are really thick and sort of hologrammy..I only got gold and silver though.
I have these really lovely icicle lights hanging all around the room aswell in a pale blue. too much colour inside does my head in.

More colour the better when it comes to lights as the kids love them.
Our tree was up last weekend with the decorations and outdoor lights.
My tree has only red and silver decorations on it...hate loads of different coloured tinsels and stuff.

Mine will go up this weekend. No tinsel but lots of beads and ribbons :) Red and gold on a green tree.

I have silver and red beads, red bows and silver and red icicle things. Not a real tree I'm afraid though would love one.

There must be somewhere? For just a wee one? Or do you live in a cupboard? ${

Ummm I've got white lights on 2 trees I've also got a fibre optic one.... Not putting trimmings up this year at home cos I've gotta be out by 20th so it's not worth the hassle!

Mum and dad took THREE COUNT THEM THREE days to put all their lights and trimmings up and stuff...theyve got everything you can think of but its not tacky or naff she's quite tastefull my mum! She has fake snowdrifts in the conservatory with little robins and deer playing in it! :roll:
