Not having had much time to go to the cinema over the last couple of years and on the rare occasion of getting a video out i was always out voted by my immensely self husband, alot of films have past me by.

Now to be honest some films are hyped and such a disappointment I am a little weary. I decided to DL Bridget Jones (as if crap nothing to lose) and was pleasantly surprised to find myself laughing in quite a few places (probably coz I, and many others I imagine, can relate to some of those situations)

Now if anyone has seen any other films they would recommend please let me know so I can catch up with the human race

I have avoided LOTR as I got the book last year and have been trying to read it ever since. (think I'm on page 60!)

Am reading Harry potter to Lukie at bedtime ...he's a bit young to read it himself but wants to know about it.

You don't need to read the LOTR's books..... I didn't till I saw the first one... but then read the second.

I'm in the same boat with Chris... reading HP3.
