Am so sorry, I totally forgot about this earlier in the week and the paper now seems to have been recycled  I know it said about going on holiday but can't remember the other couple of things. Life has been so hectic recently so can only apologise. Unless I can get a copy of it tomorrow which is quite possible so will wait and see.

Glad the holiday is going well.

No need to apologise Jezi. I doubt you've been paid a single penny for all the papers you have bought and all the work you have put in to give Cameron his free publicity. ;)

I must confess I never read it anyway and besides he's on holiday isn't he?

What a nightmare!!! Raked through the recycling box in the kitchen to see if this paper was still there earlier and it was so came online to type up the summary. All going well, just about finished (took ages as about 50 million.. no less... folk were speaking to me on MSN) and then I pressed something that opened another website in this window and when I clicked "back" it was all deleted  ::lol:: Right...

The main bit was about his "corporate victory" in getting back £1.22 which was an extra charge on a printer/scanner he bought, he basically goes through the stuff he had to do to get this money back. Final paragraph: "The bottom line is simple. If we encounter poor customer service, we should do something about it.".

As I said above he said about going on holiday and how it's the end of summer/getting into autumn over there so he's glad it won't be too hot.

How quickly things get cheap after put on the market and uses the example of digital camera memory cards and how once he bought his mum was half the price yet had 4 times the memory of one he got for himself last year.

Mentions the stress banks put on their workers to sell banking products to anyone who comes to the bank and how you get all that stuff sent to you at home so there's no escape.

Shall try and remember to actually do tomorrow's one tomorrow ::lol::

The main bit is obviously about the holiday this week and how it is very hot! The flights were fine but it's taking a wee while to get the feeling of being on holiday apparently. Mentions staying with a friend he met 10 years ago in America and how thanks to email etc it doesn't feel like that long since last seeing eachother. Seeing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge close up (after passing them on the train on the way in) and liking the feeling of the sea spray while on the ferry as it reminded him of childhood.

Hosting the hotel "Oscars" in Glasgow and mentions some of the winners including the Raemoir one in Banchory (it's bonnie from the outside!).

Thankfully the website (click here) have put up this wee story as i t's not really one you can summarise.

I Heard a great story the other night, when I was out at a dinner.

It's about an elderly Orcadian man who gets called to his wife's deathbed.

She tells him: "In 60 years of happy marriage, there is just one thing that we've not seen eye-to-eye on.

"I know you have never got on with my sister Violet, but it would mean the world to me if you would take her with you in the head mourners' car on the day of my funeral."

The old man strokes his chin and agreed that he and his sister-in-law had never really seen eye-to-eye.

"Weel," says the old man, "You ken I will do anything for you, so I will agree to take Violet in the car with me. But just as long as you know it will fairly ruin me day..."

Oops! I hope it is okay that I posted it then, because he sent it to them and me, so I assumed they would put it in.

So did I!!

Thanks Christine!

In New Zealand now - having a lovely time with a lot of lovely people. Our friends have arrived with no luggage from Tahiti so they are in a wrangle trying to recover it. Poor them - that's been ten days.

Heading out whale-watching today and going swimming with dolphins tomorrow. Can't wait.

Tarra for noo.

They're picky about the quality of pictures that people send in there, well that's what someone i know who works with pictures told me a while back so maybe the lighting's not right or something.

It is a great photo, but I have to be honest - I somehow think that Felicity would look better in a bridesmaid's dress, than Cameron.

It's tomorrow now, in New Zealand - that still amazes me.

I'd quite like to see Cameron in a bridesmaid's dress, though, Gerbilgranny. ::lol::
