DAVINA McCall has revealed she backs sex education for kids as young as FOUR — because nobody ever taught her about intimate acts.

The Big Brother presenter said she is fronting Channel 4’s Let’s Talk Sex to stop children losing their virginity too young — like she did.

Davina, 39, said: “I had sex far too young and with somebody that, given proper education, I may have had the strength to say ‘No’ to.”

The mum of three will be seen putting a condom on a model ***** on Channel 4’s Let’s Talk Sex show on March 23.

Does Davina go too far in sex education show?

Davina McCall and Channel 4 have come under attack from family and media watchdogs over an explicit sex education programme.

In Let's Talk Sex, Miss McCall accompanies four teenagers and two school heads to a Dutch youth centre.

Davina condom storm

09/03/07
DAVINA McCall has been blasted by a family group for showing children how to use condoms in an explicit sex education programme.

The Big Brother presenter and Channel 4 have come under fire over the show Let’s Talk About Sex.

It features McCall, 39, travelling with four teenagers and two head teachers to a Dutch youth centre.

They watch as children as young as four are shown cartoons of sex acts and are taught about homosexuality. And mum-of-three Davina unrolls a condom over a prosthetic sex aid in front of the kids.

Channel 4 chiefs say the show highlights the link between bad sex education and the high number of teenage pregnancies in Britain.

But pressure group Family And Youth Concern says it is “misleading” and “dishonest”.

And members are furious it will be broadcast at 8pm, an hour before the watershed.

Spokesman Norman Wells said: “The explicit approach to sex education is not at all typical of Dutch schools, but represents the extreme end of a very broad spectrum.

“They omit to mention that in the years following the introduction of compulsory sex education classes in Dutch schools, teenage pregnancy rates went up rather than down.” dailystar
