A lorry containing Cadbury chocolate eggs worth an estimated £70,000 has been stolen in Staffordshire.

Thieves tricked the driver, who had stopped near Lichfield en route from the Birmingham factory to Yorkshire, saying the van was shedding its load.

When he got out of his cab to investigate, the thieves jumped in and made off with the eggs on Monday.

But they may end up eating the snacks themselves, as a Cadbury spokesman said the eggs would be hard to sell.

oh and jokes aside today was at another end of term thing were Easter eggs were given as thank yous to the helpers.... I don't think the kind takes much guessing (despite my campaign against their production each year) so I now have four of the evil beasts to give away if anybody wants them!!!
